Lunch today was delicious, lovely flavours and beautifully presented. Bread and butter pudding to die for. This was more fine dining than pub food. Well done Dan and Hannah

Bustling, friendly and concentrating on the important things: fabulous line-up of beers and ciders, simple menu properly done, successfully welcoming locals, cyclists and walkers alike. The pub entirely deserves its star billing in CAMRA's pubs of the year Top 4!

Dropped in for a swifty. A fine pint of Tiley's Ordinary and a cheese and onion bap. Proper job! Could have easily put my feet up and had a few more.

Great beers, wholesome food and lovely team working there. My only complaint - it needs to be open even longer! Love the take away beer/cider service!

We visited on Sunday for a late lunch with family & were all very happy with our meals and couldn't resist the delicious desserts. The staff were so friendly & very accommodating to us all, especially our young children. Looking forward to visiting again soon.

We went to the Sally for lunch today and I don't think I will ever need to eat again. We had chicken, chips and coleslaw and it was absolutely huge and delicious. Nice change from a Sunday roast and we will certainly be going back again.

Just popped in on our way back to Berkeley and had the warmest welcome. A fabulous pub which I probably shouldn't extol too enthusiastically - Ham's best kept secret!

Congratulations on winning Pub Of The Year, Pete and the Sally team! Nobody asked me to vote, probably because I'm not a CAMRA judge, but if they had I would have told them "I'm proud to pay Pete my pounds"

Great pub for a pint after a walk. Nice beer garden. Helpful bar team. Raffle on a Sunday that is enjoyable. We were there on a bank holiday when a pop up food stall was in the beer garden, great food and atmosphere. Just a nice place to be

I think their chef might have been absent that day. Our options were limited to pies, fries, and rolls. However, the staff serving drinks were quite amiable and recommended an excellent ale feom their own brewery. I deducted a star due to the limited food choice, but it might be unjust since their chef was potentially unavailable. We enjoyed sitting outdoors in the lovely sunshine. If you have a bee allergy, exercise caution; they seem to be nesting in the ground on one side of the garden.

My idea of the perfect pub. Great beers and cider, and Tom Oliver's perry. Limited choice of excellent hot food. Ham, eggs and chips, and a ploughman's is always on offer and a daily special. I would much rather have this than a large choice of microwaved pub grub. Very friendly. Not for everyone but I love this pub.

Great pub - fantastic ham, egg and chips (all produce grown/reared on site!) and microbrewery pub serving several cask ales. Kid friendly in the lounge, with smaller meal potions available. Lots of events and things going on. Wish it was my local!

Lovely little proper country pub, the real deal with real ale. Big selection of beers and ciders which you won't get anywhere else. Friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere. Didn't have any food while we were there, only fault was that they had run out of pork scratchings (not worth losing a star for that though) . They go well with a pint of Tiley's pale ale.

This cosy pub has its own microbrewery and produces some fantastic real ales, I've been in twice as I live 150 miles away, wish it was my local, see you in a few months

Proper independant country pub with friendly staff. Good selection of real ale including severalof their own Tiley's beers, decent size sunny peaceful garden, and the menu is pretty good too! The full three-options menu is only available Friday-Sunday but they also do food some evenings, e.g. hotpot and a pint on Monday. Check before you go if you definitely want food. Plenty of parking in their own car park or the road outside.

What a gem of a local pub! We popped in to try some home brew. Thanks for the warning about the strength of "Quadruple" - should have known! Honestly, by far the best chocolaty dark brown ale we ever tasted! Service is lovely too. Go, go, go!!!
