Excellent lunch enjoyed at The Royal Oak. Wonderfully friendly staff who were incredibly accommodating, to both us and our dog. Ice provided for the dog, and we were purposely sat where she had plenty of room. Staff could not have been more lovely. Food was excellent - mains, desserts, anx drinks. Very glad we visited.

Super evening meal enjoyed at The Royal Oak. Most impressive number of gluten-free options available. We had booked ahead but such a surprise to only have a few things I couldn't have, rather than a few I could, which is more the norm at most restaurants. Would recommend for coeliacs. Husband enjoyed his gluten pie too ;-)

I love this little gem of a pub! The food is outstanding and served by wonderful staff! Hats off to the chef- I'd totally recommend the burger and the chocolate brownie is divine! Great to have a walk before/after by the stream too. 👌

Brilliant food. Incredible chef. The lovely chef came out to our table to talk us through what could be made vegan on the menu (lots of vegan options :) . The waitress was also lovely. Everyone went above and beyond to make you feel welcome

Nice pub with good food and a Thatchers and Aspalls cider. Good choice for a lunch stop on the way to the coast.

Pleasant village pub, good service, great food. We were staying at a B&B nearby, so can't comment on the rooms.

Stopped off on the way through to see if we could get some food on a Sunday afternoon. Very impressed by the lovely roast dinner, beef was cooked perfectly as was all the other bits. Lovely, helpful staff the rugby was on and they served Ringwood beer, what more could you ask for

Quick pop in for food on a Saturday afternoon while visiting local area and passing, visited as dog friendly. Great service and chef even came out to ask if all was good. Steak was spot on and good value compared to prices closer to the main city.

Had a very nice lunch here served by a very pleasant young lady. Had been to look at the amazing oak roof in the 1500 years old St John the Baptists Church next door. Both highly recommended.
