Our first time at The Shed and it won't be the last. The set menu was a trio of burgers. Homemade Beef, lamb and a spicy chicken, each topped with an onion ring. Sweetcorn and fries (which were topped up as we ate), followed by a sticky toffee pudding, and a coffee.
What really enjoyed was how energetic and attentive the staff were and how all of the customers seemed to interact. I think that arriving at the same time and eating the same food gave everyone something in common from the outset. I highly recommend this restaurant... but don't forget to book well in advance 😉
Amazing cafe, great portion sizes and the atmosphere there was great. We took a chance the first time with our kids and nephew, and went back 2 days later with the whole family (6 adults and 5 kids).
They obviously knew a lot of the regulars, but made you feel just as welcome. Some of the best customer service we have experienced even in when busy.
Amazing food, cakes and the kids are still talking about the milkshakes.
Best coffee in Wales, that we found, by far!
We were travelling round for a week and we only got two decent coffees (double espressos and a caramel lattes).
Really friendly, quirky and cool set up.
Great outdoor area.
Me and my two sisters came here to start celebrating my birthday. The staff gave us a whole back room to be together. The food is delicious and the staff go above and beyond. Love the decor too, highly recommended
Dined alone. Very friendly small town atmosphere. Food great at a reasonable price. Coffee cake was top teir freshly baked with a soft interior with paired with a rich almost cream-like icing. Even if you just go for cake and coffee you will be happy.
I totally recommend this place. Breakfast was more than ample and really cheap. The art is really cool and available to buy. Great views round the back as well.
Great food is freshly prepared.
The food is reasonably priced and sourced from local businesses where possible.
The Shed is dog friendly.
Would highly recommend a visit.
Great food, and lovely service! Super affordable and the breakfast was perfect
Great place for breakfast. Friendly welcome. Food was delicious.
Loved looking at the old tools on the walls. Brought back lots of memories of my childhood.
It's a bit rough and ready, but in a Bohemian kind of way. It's quirky and a bit clandestine, but in a wholesome way. The owner makes it. Always friendly and accommodating, he prices everything so reasonably. It really is a little gem
