I would highly recommend this takeaway, non oily or greasy and you can actually taste the food, I think they must have a new chef who certainly knows how to capture authentic Chinese flavours….give it a try you won’t be disappointed.
Whether collecting an order or having it delivered it’s got to be the quickest service of any takeaway I’ve ever ordered from. The food in hot, tasty and better than any Chinese takeaway I’ve ordered from for many years. Would recommend to everyone.
Just had had a set meal for two lovely food delivery drive very polite and food was on time and nice and hot when delivered. Even better that there was 10% off because I ordered through the website.

This is the best Chinese takeaway around. Just a small takeaway hidden away by Benfleet station. I highly recommend the Crispy aromatic duck and the Singapore rice noodles
Amazing restaurant customer service. Unfortunately ordered the night before and it didn’t turn up, called them up the next day and they sent it out again and threw a free dish in.
Wow! so many negative comments!? I’ve been ordering takeaways from lantern house on just eat for over 5 years and only twice they’ve been late but most of the time delivery within15mins which is pretty dam quick. I only order three items and they cook them really well and delicious in my opinion : beef curry, salt and chilli shredded chicken and satay chicken. I can’t comment on the rest of the menu but my top three never disappoints. 🫶
Best Chinese I’ve ever orders from, always delivers on time (if not early) and has fabulous choice for vegetarians. Their mock chicken is the best. Always order from here
Unbelievable food. The best we have ever tried. Staff so helpful and friendly. The Manager accomodated my allergies.

This has been our go to Chinese take away for many years, the food is great with a comprehensive menu, my favorites are: shredded beef in chilli, salt and chilli squid, house special chow mien.
