Went for small family gathering and really enjoyed. The food was very good - my starters of spicy squash soup was tasty if a little thin. Other starters round the table were also well received - particularly the Thai mussels, and the chef was very accommodating of requested changes to the Caesar salad for my pregnant wife. Mains were very good. The specialty is steaks served on hot rocks - they were perfect as served (very rare) for me but the hot stones meant you could finish off to your own liking. Accompanying fat chips were also fantastic - fluffy on inside with delicious crispy outer. Special desert of banana and Bailey's bread and butter pudding even had my wife who doesn't like bread pudding or bananas complimenting it!
Service was very, very friendly and attentive. For me only just bordered on the right side of too much. If you like efficient invisible service then this is not the place for you. We ended up hearing about everything from their personal wine favourites to the staff Xmas party!
