What a fantastic pub friendly great atmosphere, good music either live or DJ bar staff happiest and most helpful I've ever seen. Amazingly decorated for Christmas it's like Santa's grotto. Best pub in Benfleet suits all ages.
I had my 50th birthday party in The Moorings on Saturday. Had a great time. Lovely food and staff. Thanks so much.

Visited twice and have thoroughly enjoyed the band jam nights, 1st Tuesday of every month, excellent musicianship. A friendly pub, a real warm welcome, with fast bar service and very reasonable bar prices too. Loads of parking.
We visited this Inn for a charity raising event, what a fantastic afternoon and such a friendly atmosphere , a beautiful building inside and out, Father Christmas was so lovely talking to my grandson Mason, but little Harley wasn't to well and only wanted his Mummy. Would recommend this Inn to all my friends, we are loosing so many of our beautiful old public houses, so please do visit if you are nearby and i know you will return again and again x

A great pub with very friendly and helpful bar staff.Great range of drinks, always something going on from quizzes to live music and sport on the TV. The pub is also very clean and Christmas time is amazing when the pub is decorated ps love the rocking chair

I hired The Moorings Saturday night for my 30th and just wanted to say how fabulous the two staff behind the bar were. They were amazing with the kids and my crazy friends and family all dressed in fancy dress. Couldn't have asked for anything more. Thank you x

An excellent,friendly family atmosphere...always have a brilliant night in there ..the bouncers are really nice and if you are an all girl group they make sure that you get home or get a cab safely ..couldn't and wouldn't go anywhere else for a night out ..thankyou anchor Inn xxx

The pub is always clean and the the staff always make sure you get served promptly. It's a must during Halloween and Christmas due to the effort the owner puts in with the decorations. Great bands and dj's make it the place to be at the weekend.

Love it, proper pub with friendly patrons and a lively, yet calm atmosphere. One of my favourite pubs abouts. The karaoke on Wednesdays at 20:30 hours is the one.
I think the karaoke could start earlier, say 19:30 because this ginger gets sleepy too soon ππ

Went last night to celebrate my dad who passed away last year. Didn't really know what to expect but was absolutely blown away. The food was amazing and beautifully presented. Good sized portions and fairly priced too. The staff were very helpful and attentive. Would definitely recommend a visit and will be going again as soon as I can. *****

Quite essentially a must return to venue . . Maybe alone if I'm allowed the ales went down a treat and made her more tolerable. . Jokin aside the Mrs loved it maybe it s me .
Lovely evening spent in the company of The Anchor Band. Great music, singing and general joy. I would have liked to eat there but the restaurant was closed, not sure if it was because of the Band playing.

Wednesday karaoke is brilliant and has lots of followers that make for a really good mix and atmosphere. The food is great with good size portions too.
