What a super little find. Great carvery good selection of meats and veg and sides that have been given just the right amount of love and care to bring you delicious food. Came for the free film night and thought we would grab a meal before and very pleasantly surprised. Puddings were delicious and h
Nice decor here. We ordered from the new menu which was a little pricey. I chose the beef ciabatta, the filling was tasty but the ciabatta was a bit dry. I had the cheesecake for dessert which was delicious. The service was excellent, our waitress Tabitha was delightful!
Food was great and so was the ambience but the best part was the service from the lovely young lady who was serving us today. I'm sorry I never even found out her name. She was so friendly, accommodating and so sweet with my young children. She made our lunch really enjoyable. Thank you for being so
Yesterday we decided to try a Carvery lunch meal at The Bread & Cheese pub in Thundersley. On entry the reception they gave us was very welcoming. The waitress was attentive and the service throughout our meal was excellent. The meal itself was hot and tasty. The carvery consisted of roast beef, tur
This place was amazing. Food was great but the staff were amazing! We travelled over from Australia for month and made sure we returned here before we flew home. All staff were great but Molly lovely and so good with our kids.
Staff were lovely and food was very quick. Only gripe is the weird vegetarian option for the roast - fake chicken tikka masala pie? Not sure who thought that was a good idea….
Has changed owners several times in the last few years the current ones are the best by far. Went in yesterday for midweek lunch and was impressed. Has a very good selection of food on the menu, prices are a bit on the pricey side but quality was very good. I had a classic burger which was very nice
I can honestly say the staff at The Bread and Cheese were all so amazing, I was there to see Sal Bashir, great show and the venue and food were top notch, thank you all for your hard work.
Went in on a Friday lunchtime with several family members. Issue with the heating in the main restaurant area, we were shown to a very comfortable and nice table in the bar instead. I initially thought the lunch menu prices were a little high. However, the meals were very substantial, well cooked an
Had a lovely time catching up with friends last weekend. Molly our waitress was very attentive and really gave service with a mile.
Very accommodating staff and super dog friendly. The food was good but expensive! We would definitely return, though, due to the service, staff, and how clean and tidy it was 😄
Good food with good portion sizes. Staff coped well with a table for seven. Garden looked comfortable and inviting. Good stmosphere for a Sunday lunch
3 of us girls visited early December for lunch. It was quiet, letting us chat freely. Lovely young lady answered any questions about the menu (sorry can't remember your name 3 weeks on), and attentive enough. Pleasant food but a pricey menu, so would visit again but as a treat.
Lovely little pub. Went around 3pm. Drinks nice and cheap! Food was delicious. Fish and chips best I’ve had in a pub in a while fish had some bones but I take that as fresh fish not frozen. My friend had the burger and was stunning. The chips are beautiful. Staff are lovely. Mostly left us alone whi
Great place and friendly staff :) decent size portion of food also :)
Lovely food, first time would defiantly go back, great staff and service!
Recently attended a function (Hen Do!) at the Bread and Cheese, and they could not be more accommodating and helpful! Really was a wonderful evening, we had a whole area to ourselves, good music with a fabulous singer, we were well looked after by Jack who was serving us and arranging drinks and foo
