The Crab & Lobster Inn - Bembridge - Photo album

Dropped in for a quick drink with my family. We sat outside and admired the view of the ocean. Inside the pub they had an open fire with a table for 2 right in front. It looked like a perfect spot to spend an hour or 2 having a drink on a cold and winters day. Got a discount on drinks (⅓ off) wit
We didn’t stay in a room so can’t comment on that, 5* for everything else. The restaurant does not realise they served a Lord and Lady. We were pleasantly surprised to be welcomed with a smile, at one point I felt like i wanted to give a hug like I haven’t seen a mate for a long time and arrived at
We found this pub by accident and arrived in our bikes. We were greeted by friendly staff and shown to our room, The Nab. Room was perfect. We ate supper outside as it was warm. Again, friendly staff and a beautiful location. Avoid the ´signature starter’ crab dish, it was tiny, unevenly heated, run
Can’t comment on rooms as went for a meal only. We had a booking for a family meal for my nieces birthday, all the staff were great and mentioned her birthday to her. The location is lovely, above a beautiful beach which we popped to whilst we were waiting for food. We realised that we were going to
Lovely old inn almost on the waterfront. Weather was miserable but welcome warm wheelchair access ok but could be made a little easier. Food very nice and super generous portions. Reasonably priced
Went for Sunday lunch, lovely staff, food was great! I had the beef roast.... beautiful!! 😍 good amount of meat and different veg, definitely recommend! Good price. And then we went on a coastal walk and down to the beach after which was so lovely to finish off the day 😍
Really fab place. Hidden gem. I loved inside ...so much to look at. Fantastic service although it was the Area Manager that was front of house. Food was fantastic but I was disappointed with the prawns. Frozen perhaps...a couple of big fresh prawns would have been better. Go early or book in advance
We stopped here for a quick bite so cannot comment in depth one way or the other... But.. it is a lovely cosy pub, and the food we did have was excellent... I had a baked brie, and my wife had the seafood soup... Both were delicious... Service was great,.and prices not bad... We would definitely go
We stayed here for one night and had dinner as well as breakfast. The room was sadly a bit lacking with the view being the chimney of the kitchen with a slight fried smell hanging in the room. Additionally the heater was broken (they knew about it and tried to get it fixed so no blame here) and runn
Great food but I've been a here a couple of times and the service was slow on each visit. I'm still going to head back there though because it's a nice spot and dinner has always been nice. If service improves I'll change my rating.
Called to book a table. On arrival, we were greeted and shown our table strsight away. Very friendly staff, humorous and smiles on their faces. Our drinks were served with 10mins and orders place with 10mins after that. Reasonable waiting time before our orders appears. It is important to point out
Lovely setting. Very friendly and entertaining staff, Top quality food and Ale. we visited for 2 nights and will certainly do so again if in the area
It was a warm and sunny day when we visited (8 of us), so we decided to have our meal al fresco. The place was very busy and there was a longish wait for the food. Overall, service was satisfactory, but not excellent. For example, we asked for some tartare sauce, but it never arrived. The one downsi
