Bengal Blues - Belper - Photo album

Four of us walked in on a Friday evening without a booking, and not knowing anything about the restaurant. Food was superb, and the service was friendly and attentive. The restaurant doesn't have a licence but you can take in your own drinks. Overall a very pleasant dining experience.
First time I've eaten here and visited with a group of 9. The food arrived together that for a large group does not always happen in some places. Everyone said their food was very tasty and levels of heat fulfilled everyone's expectations. Staff were friendly, fun and efficient. Really like the brin
Not been to the Blues for around 10years, not sure why. My wife and I ate their tonight. Had a lovely meal. Service was great, the Lemon rice and Clay pot curry was beautiful. Perhaps needs freshing up inside but decor was ok. Shame we had a noisy party near us but that can't be helped. We will go b
Great food, great service. No alcohol licence so you can bring your own beer/wine which is a great saving ( off license 50 yards up the road)
A great night out with the family, excellent 1st class!!! Don't forget your own booze though, they're not licensed to sell it, best Indian restaurant I've eaten in!!!
This is my first time ordering takeaway from here. I was a little worried after I read a few bad reviews. I was pleasantly surprised. The food arrived before time. It was delivered hot by a very pleasant man. The food was delicious. It was the first takeaway that I've enjoyed in a long time. I can't
Must go more often my sister and brother-in-law are regulars and Indian food experts 🥰
This meal was simply five stars. Ordered takeaway - couple curries, rice and naans, papadums and some great sides/appetisers. Everything was piping hot, service was friendly, tastes were incredible and at such a great price. Some other extras with the papadums which we appreciated too. Best takeaw
Great restaurant in Belper. Speedy, attentive service. Bring your own drinks as well which is a draw.
Never judge a book by its cover. Looks a bit run down and not very appealing, however the inside is actually quite nice and the food is excellent. Extensive menu including some unusual dishes. Take your own alcoholic drinks. Incredibly good value for money, verging on being underpriced for what you
Really nice meal (2nd time, 1st time was also great). Interesting dishes like duck curry and a curry served on a bed of mushrooms and onions. Really busy but still good service. We did book on a Saturday night around 8pm and I would recommend doing this in future.
Nice little Indian and Bangladeshi restaurant situated just down from Belper marketplace. At peak times this place can get very noisy. This is a bring your own alcohol restaurant so i'll leave it up to you to figure out why it gets noisy at peak times. Lovely food from here but there can be a wait
