A really warm welcome from Paul and Cheryl for our party of 15 for a birthday Sunday lunch. Food was brought to table, nice and hot. Great portion size. Vegetarian option included vegetarian gravy. Children's portions were just right. Sky sports and pool table to continue the experience after dinner
Stopped in for a couple of drinks while visiting family. Lovely country pub with a warm, friendly atmosphere, and the dogs were welcome too. Never had the food, but what I saw on the next table looked amazing! next time, I will stay long enough to have food. Nice outdoor area for sitting front and r
Fantastic quiz night at this local traditional pub. The staff were wonderful and service excellent. Did not have any food as quiz night. Definitely recommend this friendly and well run establishment.
Great place to stop with a motorhome. They have a massive car park. Room for 2 motorhomes at the back next to the kids play area. Bit of a slope to one side, but putting ramps down solved this. They charge £10 per night. They have Electric Hook Up with 2 sockets. Fresh water available. No waste wate
Good food, fast service and friendly atmosphere. Well above par for a local pub. Dog friendly with an impressive gluten free selection too. When you book a table for ten and everybody clears their plate you know they've got a good chef in the kitchen. :-)
Popped in for a tonic ice and lemon and a chill. The garden area fenced in the car park was a lovely sun trap. The pub was pristine had a good selection of cask ales and polite and friendly staff. They also serve food . Looks pretty good too.
Went for some dinner and the quiz and had an absolute blast! The staff were really welcoming, the quiz host was a real personality and the whole pub had an incredible vibe. Will definitely come back!!
Lovely lunchtime meal spot, outstanding steak & ale pie. Dog friendly pub, really nice staff, pool table/darts. Nicely renovated whilst retaining some old pin charm
Very good, tasty food with good service and a great selection of beers including Butty Bach (a favourite of mine). Wednesday was quiz night, a bit boisterous but great to see a full pub well into the night.
Really nice pub, the meal was pretty good, lots of variety on the menu and a reasonable price. They serve nice, well kept beer, and they couldn't have looked after us better. Would recommend a visit.
