Had brunch here today. Fresh, hot tasty food, tea with cups and saucers and friendly staff. Would highly recommend dropping in again.
Excellent food, great coffee, lovely staff, very clean. A great little hidden gem 5* all the way .
What a little gem. Tucked just off Belper high street. Food lovely, staff great, really good value. I heartily recommend this cafe.
Lovely friendly atmosphere and staff, highly recommend!
Love going in here the staff are so friendly and the prices very reasonable compared to other eateries in Belper. A lot better now have the new upstairs bit as well.
Finally made it !!!!
First visit today. Had some lunch, home made quiche and salad. Gorgeous.
Will be visiting again. Thank you x
Really lovely! Bubbly, friendly staff and yummy food and cakes
Lovely tearoom with friendly helpful staff, makes a great 'drop in' while out on your bike.
A real home from home. Clare and her staff will make you feel really welcome and will accommodate you in any way they can. All the staff were absolutely brilliant with my two year old and my baby, really friendly and patient with them. The place was full and all the customers were interacting with each other, a lovely atmosphere. The food was lovely too, even for my fussy pair. Love the new upstairs too and looking forward to the courtyard in the summer. Will certainly be back, best place in Belper.

Lovely food friendly staff and child friendly even cope with my demolition men grandsons
Fantastic cooked breakfast. Friendly staff and loads of freshly baked cakes on offer.
The atmosphere is relaxing, the staff are friendly and helpful and the selection of food and drinks are excellent and delicious. My son especially loves the jam butterfly cakes. We will definitely be back very soon
When in Belper always stop here for a spot of lunch. Excellent service and the most friendliest people.
Stopped at Railway Tea Room for lunch whilst in Belper. It is in a terrace house next to the railway line. Really friendly and welcoming staff. We ordered 2 quiches and a pot of tea for 2 which came to £18. Food was good but would have like a slightly larger piece of quiche. Tea was good served in lovely cups. A nice tea room to visit.
Stopped for brunch, great little place, friendly staff, great food 😋
Came across this cafe by chance and was very pleasantly surprised. Will dry visit again if we're in Belper. Thank you very much for a lovely light lunch.
Lovely little tearoom with friendly staff, great food and good service, worth a visit
Lovely little tea room in what is essentially a house. Really quirky with some lovely staff. The only thing was the 'big breakfast' wasn't very big at all and was lacking in the variety of items. The food was delicious and very well priced but I'd have happily paid double to have more variety on the plate – things like black pudding and hash browns.
Overall great experience.
Being a fussy eater had breakfast tailored to my way.. no problem at all. Fantastic quality . And a doggy sausage
Really quirky tearooms that is situated in a quiet alley way off the high street in Belper.
Our Earl grey was wonderful as were the staff who were really welcoming and warm.
We have 2 small children who can be a hand full. 1 of the ladies inparticular took a butterfly (that my little girl had taken a liking to) off the wall and gave it to my daughter to take home.
Last but not least, the scones, preserve, and cream the came along with the tea were a contender for the best I have had.
Thanks Girls we wilk co.e again and recommend.
Absolutely brilliant.
Simply a lovely rustic place to get a bite to eat, food is good quality and tasty.
Don't expect fine dining, This place is meant to be slightly rustic which in turn gives you a nice warm homely feeling.
Staff are lovely also
Went there and what a wonderful experience. The home made special soup was 5 star. You must try. Service pleasant. Thanks Clair. Happy days
It's great. In the summer we sit in the back yard with our dog and I have scrambled egg on toast. My wife has a small english and we both have coffee. Then I have a toasted tea cake. All the staff are very friendly and welcoming.
I was looking for an independent coffee shop in Belper that was open on Monday as a few tend to be closed. Anyway I hadn't tried this before and had good reviews so thought I'd give it a try. I'd walked from Holbrook via Chevin golf course and the Mill with my 3 dogs so was glad to find a friendly place that had an outdoor area where I could sit with them. The staff were really nice and was able to tie the dogs up whilst I went inside to order, they also had a water bowl for them to have a drink which is always a bonus! I had a lovely latte and piece of lemon drizzle cake at a reasonable price and the sat chatting to the owner who was really lovely and works very hard. I'm planning to bring my friends back in a couple of weeks on a Monday so will make a return visit. Thanks for making me welcome - 2 spaniels, a cockerpoo and their owner 👍
It's a shame that the business is closing this month.
Called on for lunch , plenty of choice , friendly staff spotlessly clean , will be back
Loved this little cafe, beautiful homemade cakes and lovely coffee, I would highly recommend this place the staff are so friendly.
Fantastic breakfast, warm welcoming staff, staff made my 2 year old really welcome and catered for his needs! Will definitely be going back for another visit.
