Amazing fish and chips, started going here on Sunday as not many chippes open on Sundays. Really impressed with the service and speed as all cooked freshly. Can be very busy, but even so, probably the best fish and chips I have had... ever!! Chips so fluffy inside with a light crispness and lovely
First Visit since became a Nik's. Must say very impressed with food and service. Have been to another ex George's and that one was awful (and now closed)

Freshly cut chunky chips that were pipping hot! The curry was absolutely delicious that we went back for more! Great service and the team were very friendly. We'll definitely be visiting here again when next in the Midlands
Fantastic food and really quick service! I had the battered sausage, chips and mushy peas and a lunch time special with fish goujons for my wife, both meals were generously sized!
The whole meal with two cans cost just over a tenner!

Very friendly staff, good quick service. We had the fish goujon and chips lunch special, the fish and chips were hot, freshly prepared and good value. The take away part was busy, but the staff worked efficiently, meaning you weren't waiting long for your food. Excellent

Having not visited this place for years, I was quite surprised it was no longer a George's. That's the only disappointment I found! The lady serving was polite and very speedy with the service, and the meal was delicious with a generous portion of chips and a huge fillet of cod. Highly recommended!
