Exactly what a pub should be. Beautiful traditional decor - which shows it is definitely a pub (not gastro nonsense). Friendly staff, great atmosphere and a bonus of a range of vegan options for food! Our food was delicious and will definitely be returning. If I could give more stars I would. 🌟

What a beautiful traditional English Inn, it was cosy with a lovely fire, wide range of ales and gorgeous cheese plates. I hugely enjoyed the charcoal cheese and even bought an extra slice to take home with me! We were staying at Makeney Hall and the Inn is conveniently located only a 5 minute walk
