We held a family wake at The Brecknock Arms yesterday (1st November)
I could not praise the staff enough, particularly Grace and the catering lady (I’m sorry I can’t remember her name)
Nothing was too much trouble for them. The food was absolutely delicious!
It made a very difficult day so much easier, thank you so much!
We had a lovely experience its was everything your want in in a proper country pub ,the staff and landlord were very welcoming. The food was good and the beer ,this was last Friday, the landlord even took us to where we were staying for weekend as taxis were a few miles away, thanks ,ps the groups in garden what a bonus
Cracking pub with Camden Pale & good home cooked grub. Big garden & friendly staff. We had a lovely afternoon off from fishing at Frant Lakes.
Came here again last week. No change, still a good & good food 😊🍺
Such a homey welcoming place, greeted by the super friendly owner. Dogs welcome which is great! Huge garden area to enjoy in the sun. Sunday Roast was amazing!! Could taste the freshness, price was affordable for the amount of food given, we were so full we couldn’t enjoy any homemade desserts. Everything was clean which is always pleasant. Owner made friendly conversation and chefs were friendly and brought us the food personally. Would recommend 100% and we hope to be back soon!
Stopped here today on our way through and wasn’t disappointed.
The landlord is a lovely chap. He is friendly, accommodating and tentative. He treats every customer uniquely and really cares about their experience.
The food is fresh and great produce used. The garden is pleasant on a sunny day.
The resident pub dog is also a lovely little dog which as I dog owner too I enjoy.
No complaints from us! We will definitely be back. The Eastbourne bunch who came for lunch x
Lovely pub and the landlord was a really nice bloke. £4.95 for a Harvey’s which isn’t bad
Lovely Roast Dinner on a Sunday and always a warm Welcome from Niall and his Staff. In fact all his Food and Beer is awesome!! Great Pub in a beautiful Setting.
Went for Sunday lunch ,which was really nice ,beer was excellent and landlord very welcoming.
Introduced to this pub by a friend who is a regular visitor. Simple unspoilt public Harvey's house close to Frant station, friendly locals and excellent beef Sunday roast served up.
Visite for beer festival. Great local ales. Beer garden is big and plenty of tables
