You know the food is truly exceptional when you cannot decide which was your favourite, they were all great.
The restaurant looks very nice in decorations which made me recall some of my favorite restaurants I’ve visited in my country. The food is ok, but all the dishes with meat tasted a little fishy. But I would still recommend it because it’s still cost effective and good for enjoying with friends.
The food were amazing highly recommended for those who love truffles and all. The neighborhood was great for photos and very clean restrooms.

We enjoyed our lovely dinner. Ordered the bread and butter starter and mozzarella, beetroots and figs dish to share to begin. Then had the herb gnochis with pesto and tomatoes. For dessert, we went for the baked Alaska. The bread was delicious, especially the one with herbs. Highly recommend the gnochis (large), possibly the best we've ever had and the tomatoes tasted super fresh. Baked Alaska is delicious, quite big and with a contrast of temperatures and textures as the outside merengue is warm and it has ice-cream and cake inside (despite being tasty if you don't have a sweet tooth, you should go for another choice) . Despite the good culinary experience, we give it 4 stars because being charged 6.60£ for the service, we felt the waiters were quite pushy for getting us to order drinks as they repeatedly asked several times. To be fair, though, they were all very friendly, but if service is to improve, that should be noted.
Absolutely perfection. Every single dish was SO delicious. The service crew was really friendly, warm and thoughtful. It was simply a joy dinning in. Our family had an amazing time! The atmosphere is really cozy, quaint, perfect for an evening meal. Highly recommend ✨

Really good restaurant in a very central location with reasonably priced food. I disagree with others that the portions are small, the range of dishes is unique in that it doesn’t follow a tradition ‘style’ or ‘type’ of food but we shared a few smaller dishes and then a steak too. Overall, it represented value for money and I agree the restaurant has an atmosphere but it’s not too loud.
My only one suggestion was that the service was a little too quick, a few servers asked for drinks etc but you’d rather that than be ignored. Timing between courses could have been slightly longer too.
Would recommend if in Belfast but book in advance.
Excellent quality/value for money dining we’ve experienced in Donegal and Northern Ireland in the last 2 weeks. 2 courses for £18.50 in this standard of restaurant what’s not to like. Oh the cocktails are 💯!
Delicious looking menu that delivered in flavour too. Despite it's infancy, highlights of fried artichokes and lamb rump puts this place right up there with the well-established greats of Belfast.
The best restaurant I’ve tried in Belfast so far! The food and the cocktails were great. Everyone was very helpful and polite. I had the crispy squid and the pasta with shellfish and spiced butter, but i’ll definitely go back for the steak!
Had three courses and though the venue is loud, the food is great. Portion size could be larger but the quality is more than deserving.
Dinner at Wateman was a great experience. The food was so good. Loved everything, the fish was so fersh so good with an amazing broth. Just needed a bit more. Wanted more. So good.
Booked a private dining room to celebrate my friends birthday. One word WOW. Everything from the exceptional service (special mention to Diego and Conor) the outstanding food and the unreal cocktails. We can’t wait until the next time we visit Waterman.
Great vibe and food. Attended with a group and we were not rushed on time for table back. Service very good. Would recommend. Mid price range.
