Wow. Where do I start. From the gin cocktail mixed by Christian right through to the very end, the meal was five star. Alex and Christina were wonderful waitstaff/ sommeliers who guided us through the meal from start to finish.
The Amuse Bouche, the pigeon, the chicken were perfectly sauced and balanced, on a quiet Thursday night, the attention to detail was perfect. And excellent wine list, and suggestions from Christina to match the cheese course was spot on. I can’t rate Blank highly enough! Expensive? Yes. Worth it? Absolutely.
I was very impressed with the staff, they had a card for my girlfriend’s 30th and presented her with a little cake (complete with candle) at the end of the night to mark the occasion. We went for the 6 course meal option and while some dishes were not jaw dropping they were all tasty and worth the experience. The duck was a particular stand out. We went for cocktails and a bottle of wine and there was an incident with a glass of wine which they rectified to our satisfaction. Really, for me, the staff are a huge part of my enjoyment and here they are 10/10. The food and drink is expensive but you know this going in, I’d go here over muddlers club though. Great night out!
Fantastic experience at Blank. Food was great, service excellent in a great cosy restaurant. My advice :Start with a cocktail, they are amazing 🍹🍸😁👌👌
Fantastic food and drink pairings (both alcoholic and non alcoholic), first rate service and presentation of dishes. We enjoyed the way both the world wine and the non alcoholic wine flight were used as an introduction to each course. It was such fun trying to guess what the next course would be as our sommelier described how the drinks would enhance the flavours of the food to come. It was my birthday celebration and not only did I get a card but also a small edible birthday surprise at the end - a beautiful delice with a candle on top! What was so amazing was that the two drink flights looked almost identical.
Would definitely recommend this for a special occasion.
One of the best nights!! We dined here last night for my birthday and the food, wine & staff were all exceptional. We arrived shortly after 8pm and weren’t leaving to near midnight. A brilliant night & will definitely be back again - we will save it for something special.

Fantastic! Food and service great. Would especially recommend the non alcoholic drinks package (£14 for the 3 course pre theatre menu). So interesting and different. I regretted getting wine, as my friend had the more exciting drinks!
Everything was absolutely 5 stars from the moment we walked in the door. The staff were so helpful and knowledgeable regarding the wines and food. The atmosphere in the restaurant was incredible and the decor was perfect. We had the 5 course tasting menu with the French wine pairing and it was hands down the best food, wine and experience we have ever had. Couldn't recommend this unique restaurant enough.
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit! The staff team were very personable and attentive to detail. The food & drink was superb, making a most excellent culinary experience!
I actually can’t recommend this place enough. I’m a bit awkward being gluten free and pescatarian but they didn’t bat an eyelid! The food was incredible and the service was the best in Belfast! The small details were just great. I’ll be back!
