This is a beautiful nursery to visit. The layout is superb and very well presented.
The displays were well set up, and by the entrance.
There was a wide selection of small plants, shrubs and garden accessories as well as pots etc.
The BBQ and garden areas are well laid out and easy to spot the p
Food is very good, but the heat is a little overwhelming. Opening windows and possibly the doors would help. Great wall built in a few hours 😂 excellent job guys!!
Good place to have a visit especially if you like gardens and plants. Not much crowd as well.
Lovely shop, well stocked.
Decent cafe with lively staff, stew was delicious.
Now for the bad news, the toilets are a joke! No loo seat in the gents and very limited facilities. With the size of the cafe etc a large upgrade is needed loo wise!
Otherwise worth the visit.
Great range of garden equipment, bbq equipment, flowers and water features. Nice fish area where you can pay £1 for fish food and feed the fish outside. Cafe and toilets on site.
Really great garden centre with huge range of goods and plenty of free parking. The coffee shop is excellent and very Covid compliant and also good value, highly recommended.
Nov 23. Fantastic Christmas section, grandchildren loved it and standards still great on the café.
We had Sunday lunch in the restaurant in Hillside garden centre on Sunday funnily enough! I'm glad to report that it was a tasty plate of food and a decent sized portion. We had roast beef which was very well cooked and super tender. All the accompaniments were just as good. Prices are a bit high
Plants priced on a par with other garden centres. Staff at checkout pleasant and helpful. However, when making a query from another member of staff who was putting out plants, I was offended by her comments to me and her attitude.
Great spot, always well presented and maintained with a good variety of plants and equipment. Reasonably priced and very friendly and helpful staff. Has everything you could possibly need for your garden. Always enjoy a walk around the aquatics area!
A bit early in the Christmas Season but some nice trees and stuff there. A bit pricey but then I am cheap and wont to compare prices from 1980-2019!
Had a nice coffee and Cinnamon thingy and half a Raspberry Ruffle tray bake outside cafe on a picnic bench.
Has everything you need for the garden and it's Large. Play area for the kids and a coffee shop for meals and snacks. The only thing that I have to say is that the price is a bit more than I would like to pay, and that is both the shop and cafe.😐
Exceptional coffee and good food.. The atmosphere is beautiful.
