It's the second best Indian restaurant I've been to (the first one is in Lancaster). We came at 10:30pm, we were all alone in the restaurant by ourselves with my sister and the food and service were absolutely amazing. We have the greatest time thanks to this torrific place. A very friendly chef and crew. Although the prices were a little bit out of students' budget, it was worth the try! The portions were enormous, so I recommend sharing.
Fantastic customer service. Amazing freshly made Indian food, we were a party of 15 and we thoroughly enjoyed the food. We had mixture of Bhuna, Bryani, Butter Chicken. Generous portions, exceeded expectations.
Called in on a Monday night. We were the only diners for a while . I’m really shocked as the freshness, quality and quantity of food was top notch. Not from the area I can strongly recommend this restaurant.

Great Indian food for a bargain! Their vegetarian sides are a great portion, only a bit smaller than the mains. Picking up take out was seamless and the staff were wearing masks. I would highly recommend this as a great take out option!
The best curry in Belfast. We've tried so many of the Indian restaurants in Belfast and Sonali is by far the most authentic. Great menu, everything we ordered was perfect and the staff where extremely friendly. Been three times now and every time is great!
1st time going and it certainly didn't disappoint. High quality food along with great service will definitely be back very soon. So good in fact that my 7 year old said it was as good as pizza,if you knew him you would know that's the highest of compliments!
After searching for new Indian nearer us, we can't find anywhere as good as Sonali. They do, consistently, the best tandoori mixed grill in Belfast.
I absolutely love this restaurant! The food is amazing! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and the staff really go out of there way to explain the difference dishes available. The service is impeccable and it is very reasonably priced...I would definitely recommend this wee resturant to all who want an all round excellent dining experience! 😆
Haven't ordered from the Sonali in a while, it is a bit pricey but food was delicious & delivered in an hour! Yummy!
Our first visit to Sonali this evening, but it will not be our last. The service was truly exceptional, a relaxed beautiful environment, AMAZING food throughout and very generous portions. Every bite was so enjoyable, and although we were eventually full up, we couldn't resist finishing off our dishes, even the beautiful pilau rice and naan breads. I highly recommend Sonali and can't wait to go back. 5 stars
