Super delicious and great range of reasonably priced options. Servers were awesome. Try and stay on main floor if you want it livel or upstairs for quieter. Crab claws are quite messy and aot of work
Amazing food, very good service, really nice atmosphere. A lovely place to stay.
I had dinner there for three evenings during my holiday in Belfast.
This is the second time we’v been here and love the place again.
The starters - Chowder & spicy calamari was a good start off.
The mains - Hake & Sea-Bass were both delicious.
Although, my partner thought some of the dishes were lightly over salted.
Service was brilliant as was the wine recommendation (the specials).
No wonder it’s a very popular place to satisfy cravings for seafood. We booked on our ferry two days ago so that we wouldn’t have to be turned away or wait outside like other disappointed guests.
Seafood is fresh.
The oysters and langoustines are plump and carries flavors from the sea, delicious on them own. The crab claws are nicely seasoned, and the chili sauce is really good, quite spicy. (Wish the crackers and hand wipes for the casserole can arrive with these starters, too.
Seafood casserole contains salmon, cod, mussels, langoustines, crab claws, and onions and potatoes in a tomatoey marinara sauce.
Lemon sole is nicely pan-fried. The capers and tomato bits lightens the butter.
Half Grilled Lobster may not be as fresh as the langoustines but still tastes nice with the shellfish cream. Chips are crispy and enjoyable for a potato skin lover.
Tried the toffee pudding for dessert for the first time after seeing it almost everywhere. Fortunately it is less sweet than expected. The sponge cake is super moist and soft with delightful date flavor. The toffee is also surprisingly good. The sweet-bitter milky caramel taste is addicting. I almost wiped my plate clean. The blood orange sorbet is not very consistent. There’s an icy core and a slush-like exterior part. The taste can be a little more sour-bitter, as it is slightly artificially sweet now. Nonetheless, I’m grateful that I was able to substitute it for the regular vanilla ice cream.
Yes, service is very friendly and attentive.
Lovely food, well prepared and delivered quickly enough. Decent list of wines and a good selection of dishes even on the fixed price menu. Can't fault it beyond the, now almost unavoidable, "discretionary" tip being pre-added to the bill - an American policy which irks. Great place on the whole.

Food is very good. No complaint
Oysters fish and chips were delicious.
Service is friendly but very slow.
We ordered mayo.. never got it. Waitress never attended near us so we can remind her.
We ordered extra slice of lemon .. for the oysters & fish and chips. We got it for oysters alone- but never got it for the fish and chips.
After we finished we asked for the bill, the waitress said ok then went away. & 10- 15 minutes later she came back & sat to have her lunch/ dinner break on the table next to us
I assumed or hopped that she told her colleagues or someone who is covering during her break
But no one came .. !
After waiting for too long my husband went asked another waitress and she got us the bill.
Over all very satisfied with food. The service not so much. Atmosphere is lovely.
Good food and great service. It's a good place to have sea food in Belfast. Shrimps are a MUST to order when there. The seabream was good, a bit dry though, but well cooked. Staff are super friendly!
Haven't been here in almost a decade and strangely it never occurs to me when deciding where to go out to. Nice service. The food was delicious and as the name suggests, fish is the main food group and sourced locally. Had Langoustines to start which were deliciously fresh then Pan Fried Seabass with Samphyre for main. The portions were just right and the flavours excellent. Will definitely not leave it so long before going back.
Great dining experience, they had no mussels left when we got there at 5.30pm which was unfortunate. Order the chowder, some Oysters, the hard-shell prawns and the risotto for 2 people to share. Everything was delicious. The prawns were a little overcooked which is a shame but overall a top dining experience. We will be back
Incredible seafood- some of the best mussels I have had in my life with an amazing korma sauce. Salt and pepper squid and Scallop risotto also phenomenal. Unpretentious and great value for brilliant quality.
