Booking is easy well for me it was but dont know during busy time.
We went for a business dinner
Ordered : Steak: it was bit dry as per our guest.
coley Fish : Good dish
Chicken: was good too
Soicy Tofu: was ordered by and it had salt sprinkled on each piece and was so so salty.
The red color picture is for my dish.
I would say Tofu dish was not good Rice being very very dry and not at all moist and warm.
I got good reviews from other’s . May be expected bit more but will try that next time again.

First Class restaurant in the heart of Belfast. The new location for Flame provided an opportunity to impress customers with new decor. Wow!! What a fabulous job they did from the stunning bar to the roomy tables and chairs. A transformation from the old restaurant in Howard Street. The food was absolutely beautiful with a wide and varied menu to suit all tastes. The service was second to none, very attentive without being oppressive. We were celebrating at special birthday and the staff could not have been more accommodating even with a baby at the table. Our server Nicholas was exceptional, warm, welcoming and very professional.

Higher end dining with a nice ribeye and sirloin. The place was very busy on a Thursday night, so I suggest reservations. The number of full tables stretched the wait staff and we had to wait a considerable time for the bill and refilla, etc. If you are near the open-view kitchen, it is rather warm. The food and atmosphere was excellent.
We really enjoyed our steaks and very good desert. Top staff ,very friendly and helpful.

I had Fillet Steak and baby ceaser salad, I was in heaven.
I called ahead and was told the kitchen closed in 10 mins, I was a few mins late but they still seated me. Wonderful service and atmosphere.
What a find. Fantastic menu, very attentive staff, good atmosphere, First class bar staff who took time to make sure that each drink was perfect leaving the bar. The Portuguese chicken was delicious and just the right portion size. Highly recommended.
We were staying next door in The Flint, and whilst waiting to check in myself, and girlfriend stopped in for a lunch and drinks. The staff are so friendly and the food and drink was served quickly. It was delicious. I recommend the raspberry Tom Collins.

Our 2nd visit to Flame and yet again we had the most amazing visit. The new premises is stunning. Such a lovely warm welcome from Sarah-Jane and her team. Food unbelievable we had Steak & Scallops and both dishes cooked to perfection. Thank you to Sarah-Jane and Keri for your exceptional service we can't wait to visit again.

Fantastic night. Nicolas was amazing, so welcoming, efficient and very friendly. We were a large group and all our food was excellent, great service and lovely atmosphere. Highly recommend it.

I think I’ll start with the fact that the food here is outstanding. Upon booking a table, my friends and I didn’t really know what to expect... but we were very pleasantly surprised by the overall interior and vibe to the place!
I thought the menu was great.
I’m vegetarian and they had 3 substantial options. The chef recommended the Paneer & spinach curry and it was genuinely the nicest I’ve ever had. Bursting with flavour.
Really impressed.
One thing that stood out was one of the Chefs, Anita, who I noticed watching us eat the first bite of our food. I looked at her and said it tasted so good, and with a big smile she said she loves to see people’s first reaction to eating what she has prepared. This really stood out to me as a chef who is passionate about her job and the food she makes, and I thought it was really nice. Thanks Anita!
Everyone else really enjoyed their food, and we got desert too!
The young girl looking after our table, Saskia, was incredibly nice and really chatty. She made the overall experience more enjoyable!
Despite all the above, we unfortunately had to ask 4 separate times to get water for the table.
This was very frustrating as each staff member said they would get it straight away, but they didn’t! It got to the point that I had to get up from the table and go ask directly at the bar for it.
Furthermore, majority of the staff were not wearing their face masks properly, and had them under their chin. What’s more is that absolutely no one working in the kitchen (which is open plan and close to customer tables) was wearing a mask.
This was disappointing to see and made me feel a bit uncomfortable given the current circumstances.
For these reasons I can only give 4/5 stars!
I would definitely return to this restaurant, however, I would hope to see the covid regulations taken a bit more seriously!
I was meeting up with a few friends in Belfast on a Tues night and we only realised how difficult it was to get a restaurant open on a Tues evening - we were lucky to get a table in Flame and this turned out to be a good result - they have moved into a really nice building and its well laid out with a nicely furnished bar .
The staff were very welcoming and helpful and the food was of a very acceptable quality.
We all thoroughly enjoyed our evening here and would recommend to anyone looking for a table especially early in the week
Fantastic spot and great atmosphere....I had the soup of the day and it was very, very delicious.
Definitely worth it.....much better than pub food.
The interior design of the restaurant is unique and suggests an eye for detail that should carry over to the food. I liked the open kitchen so that you have an insight into the work that occurs to create a plate. The options on the menu all look very appealing. The food was excellent but the best course for me had to be the dessert. The only flaw was my steak which wasn't cooked the way I asked. I had asked for a rare steak but got a medium. Would have enjoyed the peppercorn sauce more if it had cream in it.
Great food, service, and atmosphere, steaks were gorgeous, so do desserts. Really nice place to dine at, and the staff were so good and helpful. Really 5 star place
Once again we had a date night at flame and once again our experience was of top quality. The food here is delicious, it is on a different level combined with the great and attentive staff. I encourage everyone to try here not just to have an amazing meal but to have a true dining experience.
