Without a doubt this place is one of our favorites in Belfast. Quirky decor and music, warm hospitality, and outstanding modern European food at fair prices. The set menu deal is just £17 for two courses, adding a fabulous bottle of wine only £10 more. My leg of lamb was so huge I could barely finish half and it was served with some of most delicious roasted winter root vegetables I've tasted in a long time. My spouse's rump steak au poivre was similarly generous, and served with hot, crispy thick cut chips as well as housemade onion rings. Top notch.

Food was amazing and nicely presented. Service was great and since it was my girlfriend's birthday, the staff started playing happy birthday music around the restaurant and gave her a free drink with a sparkling firework attached. This level of service surprise us and added greatly to the overall experience.

Absolute hidden gem in belfast. My wife and I loved the atmosphere and dinning experience. My compliments to the chef the food was amazing such care and love taken, and also to our host james who was so friendly and attentive. Professional service, beautiful cocktails 10/10 for this restaurant

Our family had a wonderful lunch here. Esmeralda was wonderful! We loved chatting with her :) Great vegetarian options, also we have a daughter with a nut allergy and they were super accommodating. My husband said it was the best Shepard’s pie he’s ever had. Can’t recommend this place enough!
Absolutely tremendous. Best restaurant in Belfast. Oisin was our server and was attentive and amazing. We started with the duck hoisin canapés and they were done perfectly. For the mains, my wife had the salmon and I had the chicken stack … both cooked to perfection and served beautifully. The trio of dessert had a wonderful fruit coulis with it. An absolute must if you are in Belfast 10 min walk from city centre. Tremendous !!!

First time at this restaurant but it certainly will not be my last. I brought my mum out for dinner as I had heard they do the best lamb in Belfast. This was absolutely the case. The presentation, taste, value for money, ambiance and service makes this my new favourite place. Looking forward to my next visit in April.

This was mines and my partners first time at Blu restaurant. We decided to book here based on other very positive reviews and recommendations. We were so glad we did as everything was perfect from the start. On arrival we were greeted by the manager who was also serving tables. He was friendly and very welcoming and we were seated at our table immediately. I noticed straight away the nice relaxed atmosphere and how attentive the staff were. Everyone looked as though they were having a nice time.
We had a drink as we browsed the menu which had a great selection. We ordered two courses. Our starter arrived to the table promptly, the food was presented beautifully and tasted even better. Our waitress was friendly and attentive from the beginning. The main courses also presented nicely and tasted delicious. We had planned to go somewhere else straight after dinner but decided to stay for a couple more drinks as we were enjoying it so much. I'd highly recommend visiting this restaurant, couldn't fault it. Perfect evening!
