Really great vegan food in Belfast! One of my favorite restaurants I ate at while on holiday here. I had the ramen and the cauliflower bites (not technically vegan since they have honey) but wow everything was great! Really cool atmosphere and great service as well. Wish I was there for longer so I could have eaten there again!

Jumon is a plant-based Asian fusion restaurant located in the centre of Belfast, and I can safely say this is one of the best plant-based restaurant experiences I’ve had in Belfast. We ordered everything from small plates to desserts. Everything we ordered had a great combination of flavours and spice which everyone in our party really enjoyed, whether they were vegan or not! I want to mention some of the stand out plates: Starting with the smalls, the simple but amazing KFB (Korean fried brocolli) is just wonderfully crunchy and deliciously seasoned with some miso mayo, slices of ginger and a serving of kimchi. Definitely try this out when you are here! The KKP (kkanpoong Crispy Tofu) had a fantastic marinade with some crispy Tofu that was deliciously soft inside. Once again, this was paired with miso mayo and a poppadom which is unconventional but works really well. For the 'bigs' we had the Jumon Dandan which was just silky and delicious with a proper kick. This is the spiciest option on the menu but it is well worth it. The flavour of the oil based sauce and the rich flavour of the mushrooms and crunch of the bok choi worked really well. We also had the Hungley which was a sort of satay sauce but with an Indian twist. It was paired with ramen noodles and some pineapple, basil and peanuts which just tasted delicious! For desserts we tried the Dark Moon and Full Moon, both of which were delicious. The Dark Moon was a satisfying chocolate experience with silky sauce, delicious brownie and some fresh raspberry ice cream. The Full Moon tastes like a fancy loop da loop ice cream and the flavour combination is delicious. There is crunchy chocolate, fresh lime sorbet delivered with a beautiful finish. Also the service was excellent. We were served by Reid who did an amazing job, leaving us asking for nothing, always checking for whether we need more drinks and being good craic whilst he did it. Overall I think this is a no-brainer, if you are in Belfast try Jumon out. I know I will scrambling back here as soon as I can 😁

Ate at Jumon for dinner, enjoyed the large selection of Vegetarian / Vegan options. The service was nice and the server took the time to explain different types of beer offered and explained some of the dishes. We ordered the cigar rolls, Korean fried rice, pad Thai, Jumon ramen and a few drinks. The drinks were great and the food was good, however my mind wasn't blown. The pad Thai had a fantastic zucchini garnish which I wish I had more of, but the crispy tofu was unfortunately lacking in flavor (bland). Overall, we had a nice dinner and would recommend anyone looking for a mostly vegetarian/vegan restaurant

They got plant based good absolutely on point! The food was really delicious and I was introduced to many new and interesting flavours that I’d actually like to try at home (probably unsuccessfully). Absolutely recommend this place to anyone visiting Belfast!

Great spot! Delicious food and phenomenal cocktails. They forgot one of our dishes and when we let them know they were super apologetic and comp’d our drinks (even though we told them it was fine). Will definitely come back!

I had Jumon in 2022 and I loved it, the taste and the portion was worth the price. This year however, they reduced the portion by half. I understand it's business, and that's how it works. But felt a bit unfair to pay the same price for half a portion.

Wow, the spices in the ramen blew my socks off. Very spicy for me but I could totally handle it, in fact, I LOVED it. 😍 This was a great heat. Multi-layered and super flavorful. The dumplings were tasty too, and not spicy. Prices were on the hugh side but quality was also superb. I love that they are plant-based. Only vegitarian and vegan dishes. I put 4 stars for atmosphere because I found the music loud and a little much for me, but I am a sensitive and not a spring chicken anymore. I could see how people would enjoy it.

We came here two nights in a row on our recent trip to Belfast as the food was so good! It is the perfect place for vegans, with most of the menu either vegan or customisable to vegan. There are lots of small plates so it’s good for sharing as a group, as a group of 4 we got 2 large plates and 3 small plates and it was plenty. Would really recommend to anyone in the area!!

Busy, lively and active place. I'm glad that we had a reservation - there was no way we could have dined otherwise. I found the food very good and quick. Good quality of service, friendly staff. It is in the city centre, easy to reach via public transport- not an easy place to drive into, but easily commutable via bus or walk. The place feels a bit rushed though - it is still a good place to dine in for an evening dinner, but just a note that things happen at a fast pace over here.

Jumon was the most interesting food experience I have had in a long time. It has a very relaxed atmosphere with helpful staff and beautiful food. My 3 companions and I all ordered different dishes and all 4 were delicious. We all ordered different desserts and all were out of this world. It was surprising that all of it was vegetarian and mostly vegan.

Read the reviews before booking and we were not disappointed! Shared 5 'small' plates between two of us which was the perfect amount. Super tasty with a variety of spice levels. Drinks were very nice too - non-alcoholic passion fruit cocktail and ginger beer were great. Staff very pleasant and a cool vibe - would highly recommend!
