Just a superb place and fabulous staff. Food is exceptional and the atmosphere is very friendly. Would highly recommend at all times!
Lunch at The Talbot today was excellent the menu is varied with something for everyone. Cod goujons in fresh granary bread with skinny fries and salad garnish was delicious. The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful, comfortable relaxed feel to this village pub, I would recommend a visit to see for yourselves FB friends. Please share x
We have visited The Talbot on many occasions and it is the friendly staff and efficient service which keeps us coming back. The menu is quirky and fun and the cocktail menu is fantastic. The staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome and the whole venue is extremely clean and welcoming. Delightful country pub to spend an afternoon watching the world go by or to meet friends and family for a lovely evening.

Had a wonderful evening here last night. I could have eaten my starter three times over it was so good, and my main course was really tasty, the perfect portion and had just the right amount of sauce (I'm sorry I doubted you on that one!)
The staff were attentive and charming. Service was fluid and a good pace.
The only downside was that we weren't near a cosy fire so got a bit cold. But the moment we mentioned it the heating was immediately turned up, we got moved to a warmer table, and were offered a free drink each.
All in all, we will 100% be coming back for another visit.

What a great end to my day is the Telbot was after working up appetite from merry hill shipping Centre then a beautiful walk up clent hills with my gorgeous girlfriend the Sunday roast was just perfect for a winter's Sunday piping hot and fresh food just what you need in a comfy and cosy pub with good service the Telbot will definitely seeing me again �
We had a celebration for my late mum at Belbroughton Church & the “wake” at The Talbot & it was lovely. The food was good & plentiful & everyone enjoyed it. Thank you to all concerned �

We had tapas, the lamb, the 16oz chateaubriand, sides, cheesecake, and some wine. All very nice. The tapas portions were very small but very nice (Im comparing to other tapas places) we got six tapas between 4 of us. The sides were ok, the truffle Mac wasn't that truffley and the chilli veg just tasted plain. The steak and lamb was out of this world. The service was great. Team were well presented, polite, took time to have a laugh with us, made regular check backs. All in all a lovely time. It's a nice place too but a relaxed environment rather than stuck up.
Stunning food, bit pricey and small portions but the quality was astounding. Best pork belly I've had in a very long time!
Great range of drinks at the bar, plenty of choice. Tons of outdoor seating with patio heaters and a stretch tent for protection from the rain.
Lovely meal after travelling to stay with Fri. Too hungry to photograph our mains!! But a fantastic visit, staff were excellent too, we sat inside due to the chargeable weather
What a wonderful experience! From the drinks to the service to the food, this was such a lovely evening out for my Nans birthday! Susan the waitress (I think that's her name) was so kind and nothing could have been better. Even the toilets are immaculate!!

I think the 4.3 ⭐️ average for the pub is about right. Nice pub but the lamb needs more juice/gravy as it can get a bit dry. The burger buns also need to be larger as there’s lots of fill and can get messy.
The portions are good and the food is decent quality. The mash was lovely and creamy and the veg was an excellent complement to the main. Our server was also polite and efficient.
Overall, a nice experience and would recommend.
The Talbot at Belbroughton is a charming establishment, exuding beauty on the inside. The decor sets a delightful atmosphere, creating a welcoming ambiance. The staff, who were very friendly and attentive, certainly added to the overall positive experience. I would note that the service was slightly slow, but it didn't overshadow the rest of the visit. What truly shone was the food – it was of excellent quality, leaving a delightful taste in my mouth. I would certainly return for another visit, hoping to savor their delicious offerings once more. It's a shame to see artificial flowers at the tables; replacing them with real ones would make a big difference and enhance the overall ambiance.
Food is always amazing and the drinks selection is respectable for a village pub/ restaurant. Great staff and decent prices that reflect the quality of the food you eat
Wonderful place, super meal. We booked The Talbot at short notice due to change of plans. There was nothing not to like. Really nice, well presented food. The ambience is lovely. We were extremely well looked after. The staff were friendly and are just really good at giving their customers a nice experience. Thoroughly recommend this place. Real quality. We'll certainly be back.
