We visited Nottingham this week and had Fish & Chips from King Cod. They were stunning. Good quality thick piece of fish and lovely clean, fat chips. When we return to visit family we will definitely buy from there again. Lovely & recommended.

They left out the curry sauce on my friends order and the employee ran down the whole street with it to give it to us!! Yummy food too

We had a large fish and large chips for £10.30. The fish was lovely and the batter cooked to my liking [not to crispy].
More than enough for two so at £5 each for a takeaway meal that's pretty good.

I've had a takeaway from King Cod a few times and I've always been impressed by the quality of the food for the price. I've had delicious fish, chips, sausage, mushy peas and more. The staff are always friendly and fun to talk to. Great local fish and chips - definitely recommended 👌

The best chippy in Beeston by far, but can get busy when trying to phone for delivery frustrating sometimes, staff are more friendlier than about a year ago, better. Can't give 5 stars as had issues with delivery phone line and ended up having to fetch myself 👍
Popped in before football excellent fish and chips. Nice owner aswell. Fresh food not like others where they recook chips. You could tell that the quality of the oil was very good and not old oil.

Excellent! Very friendly customer service. Very generous portions. They make everything to your own taste in regards to sauces, salad etc. Extremely tasty, leaving you feeling very satisfied! Thank you King Cod 😁 would highly recommend.
Fabulous cod... Have had fish and chips from King Cod 4 times now since my son moved to Beeston and both times the fish was excellent (the best ever) and portion size of the chips is more than generous, two can share a large portion.
