I am obsessed with scallops and these did not disappoint. So nice to be able to eat my meal on the beach! The sauce was amazing and it was a really generous portion.
We hoped to eat lunch in the Restaurant but it was fully booked for following 3 days (so book early).
So we went for the take away option instead. We enjoyed fish & Chips (fish yesterday was Hake). Freshly cooked and very tasty. I particularly liked the minted mushy peas. The narrow roads into Beesa

Great place to have lunch or dinner - the food is outstanding, delicious and they have great choices to pick. They are also children friendly, providing a high chair and kids menu.
They also do takeaway which is nice to do and eat overlooking the sea
Beautiful location and cracking food. Friendly service and no annoying seagulls. The south west at its best with a little bit of Barnsley sprinkled on top!!
Just popped in as I was in the area to try out their cheesy chips after a recommendation from a friend. I wasn't disappointed, a fair portion definitely filled me up,delicious crispy chips (not fat filled soggy ones)topped with a generous helping of cheese. Check the photo.
On our recent holiday to Devon we visited Britannia at the Beach several times as the food was just so good. Whether we had seafood, burgers, or just an ice cream the food was outstanding every time. Went there especially for the crab sandwiches which we had had before. Disaster, the man who supplies the crab had been involved in an accident so no crab sandwiches. Settled for Hake and chips with salad. All piping hot ( not the salad) but not what we were looking forward too. Take away service wa

Visited twice for take out on a recent holiday. Great quality both times. Bit of a wait but with such an extensive menu, they are cooking fresh to order so happy to wait for a lovely meal on the beach. Only slight gripe is the apparent lack of recycling. This place is the epitome of fish eateries. I’ve been to quite a few and this is hands down the best I’ve ever been to. Poseidon would be happy with the crab in here. We had an absolute fish buffet of delights. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. You must book to eat in.
Delicious food!!! We had mussels, crevettes, and deep fried scallops followed by hake goujons and crab and lobster arincini balls!!! Its byob, decent sized portions and reasonably priced! Need to book a table as it gets full quick!
Lovely meal, fish pie was to die for. Dogs welcome inside too. Stuff made us feel very welcome. Would definitely recommend

Without doubt, the best fish and chips that I have ever had. We came on a day that my son found too cold, but the staff brought blankets for us, and the food was superb.
