We've been in for a quiet/light evening meal of tapas & red wine, and also with a large group of people, and enjoyed both visits very much. The staff are lovely, very friendly & accommodating & coped admirably when there were a lot of us (thank you, James, Sam and Emily, we applaud you)!
The tapas were delicious on both occasions with good vegetarian options, and the place is very inviting, some nice cosy armchairs & low tables as well as larger tables. Good choice of wines. Delicious little crispy Italian pastries. There's lots more food options, but these are our "tried & tested"!
Lovely place, informal yet stylish, and very welcoming. We'll be back!
A quaint little place in a quaint little village. Perfect relaxed and friendly atmosphere, great food, great wine and great prices compared to local pubs! The only place to spend an evening (or a day drinking coffee for that matter!) in beer.
Lovely relaxed bar with very friendly staff who couldn't do more to make you feel welcome. Not a place where you feel hurried to eat and leave but more a laid back feeling and I stayed awhile eating my tapas and supping a very nice Pinot Noir. Well worth a visit for wines , coffees/teas or food or all of these. A great find while on a business/holiday trip. If I return to Beer again, I'll be back.
Amazing place ran by amazing ladies. Brings a contemporary, laid back feel to Beer. Tapas is brilliant and drink selection is perfect. Love this venue and love the humans running it!! A1

Lovely place. Some fabulous real ales and ultra friendly staff. Thank you for a lovely evening
Fab place, nice and relaxed, friendly staff and great wine and tapas. And the kids loved the chocolate cake too. So pleased we tried Osbornes on the first night of our holiday :)
It's a great place, with lovely staff! Good tapas too..
Visited yesterday with the family and was very impressed with the coffee bar. Great idea to have a coffee bar and a wine bar in one, and great that it was open late. Friendly staff, speedy service, range of cakes etc and the coffee was excellent! Clean surroundings and a great ambience and atmosphere.
A little gem with a great atmosphere, wonderful food and lovely staff!
Friendly welcome, lovely soup and knowledgeable recommendation on wine
Warm and friendly atmosphere, and warm and friendly welcome. We will be back for a return visit.
Friendly staff, great food and a chilled atmosphere.
Lovely atmosphere, great wine and very tasty bar snacks. Definitely worth a visit.
Lovely, cosy cocktail and wine bar. Lovely hosts. Only downside small well behaved dogs not allowed. If you are in Beer Wednesday to Sunday evenings recommended as well worth a visit. Enjoy the Bakewell Flute cocktail…delicious.
What a great find! Amazing cocktails, great wine selection accompanied by some tasty tapas. We had such a great evening. So welcoming and service was fantastic. Thank you!
When a lovely place this is!
Brilliant cocktails, great selection of quality wines and good beers too.
The little tapas dishes were first class and the staff were incredibly polite and friendly.
Very highly recommended 👌
A lovely ambience, very friendly and welcoming. A lovely wine list with something to suit all tastes and pockets. We went for the organic riesling. We also had some very enjoyable nibbles the spicey bean pate was particularly nice. A very enjoyable and relaxed evening
Truly fantastic venue. Staff are so friendly and make you so welcome. They even sat with us and had a drink at the end of a wonderful evening. The decor is first class. Cocktails are really top notch and the rusty nail is to die for. We can’t wait to return. Thank you so much.
Kevin and Tracy.
Lovely ambience and good service. Definitely feels like a cool wine bar. We had dinner there. Although it was all cold tapas style food, it was very tasty and we were well satisfied. Perhaps a bit of French bread would enhance the experience. Relatively short wine list.
The stand out bar in Beer run by a magnificently dedicated couple. Popped in here on the 10th & 11th Sept with my old mate Kev while biking from Barnstaple to Broadstairs. First eve we had some lovely red washed down with some refreshing beer. They do some imaginative tapas dishes which is not initially obvious so on our second visit sampled a few along with more red etc. The ambiance is perfect for couples so next time I will visit with the other half instead of my stinky cycling mate!
Lovely place in a fantastic village. Amazingly friendly staff, great experience offering a good selection of wines, coffees, whiskey and cakes. Very clean and tidy, well decorated. Always a pleasure.
Good selection of cocktails and wine. Lovely atmosphere. Choice of yummy savioury snack plates plus petit fours and port to finish. Great! Nice couple running it too.
