Always such a lovely welcome from Mark and the team at The Old Smithy 🤩 The food is lovely - beautifully presented, in a comfy, cosy, light-filled space. Our go-to place now whenever we're at Chatsworth
Went years ago and wasn't that impressed, but cycled out there a month back and loved it. We found out it had changed ownership, so we booked afternoon tea for mothers day and wasn't disappointed.

Plenty of options, all freshly prepared. Gluten free and vegan alternatives are also on offer. Very reasonably priced, great quality food. Nice outside seating area as well as the inside tables
Never been before. What a hidden treasure this is! I was at a Baby Shower but will visit again. A very friendly welcome and the food was just right. Got to go again soon.
Lovely little cafe. Wonderful looking cake. The French onion soup was delicious. Dog friendly.
Stopped here for lunch recently. Good choice of food on the menu - we had sandwiches and salad. Very nicely presented and tasty. We would have had pudding but sadly we're too full - cakes looked delicious. Interior was warm and welcoming. Will definitely revisit.
Lovely food with table service and outdoor seating was ample. Bike racks within view of outdoor seating area which is always appreciated
Literally one of my favourite places to be 🥰 The staff are so friendly and welcoming. The food and drink are delicious...in the winter a roaring log burner keeps everyone cosy and in the summer the tables outside are just perfect.
But shhhhh don't tell anyone, let's keep it our secret!!!!

Fresh, tasty food. Nice location, pleasant atmosphere and staff. A bit too long a wait for food but ok as we weren't in a hurry. On line menu prices need updating as prices have changed. Enjoyed our lunch. Thank you.
Small and comfy place with delicious food. I ordered the Egg Royale with fresh salmon and was delicious. Plus the owner speaks a bit of Spanish and she's a very kind person.

On entering, you are greeted by a number of cakes on the counter, however, after standing at the counter for a while, one of the members of staff came through and showed me in to the main room where you actually order things from, which I thought was somewhat strange

Beautifully decorated for Christmas..felt homely, cosy and welcomes people and dogs as special VIPs. An amazing menu with unexpected delights and classics including afternoon teas. Loved the black forest hot chocolate..the generous shot of cherry brandy really made for an extra special treat 😋
