Had a few takeaways from here and always really nice. Only criticism from the last order was that I couldn’t tell the difference between the lamb and the duck, both tasted the same! Arrived lovely and hot in good time.
Consistently good, always piping hot on arrival. I used to order from Delicacies of China but the last 3 orders from them were cancelled with no explanation, so Cai Ba has been my new go-to. Food is very similar between the two places but I think Cai Ba has a slight edge. The sauces have more kick and the Singapore noodles can be ordered with chow mein noodles, yum! The sweet and sour chicken balls are always tender with a crispy, fluffy breading. The satay sauce is deliciously rich and just a bit of spice. Everything tastes fresh!
Delicious food, friendly front of house, great value... what's not to love!? Particularly like the good range of vegetarian options unlike many other places.
Can't understand the bad reviews on here. So glad we found this place way better than any other Chinese deliveries in the area best crispy shredded beef I've ever had everything is super tasty and arrives hot
I don't honestly know where all these negative reviews have come from, but my brother and I have been ordering Chinese takeaway from these guys for nearly 2 years, and have always been fully satisfied each time. My favorite dishes from them are the Singapore chow mein, the chilli and salt spare ribs, the Szechuan king prawns and the crispy chili beef. Not once have we ever had an issue.
On another pleasant note, the deliverymen have always been prompt, often beating their predicted delivery times on JustEat by clear margins.

I know the reviews aren’t great for Cai Ba but I’ve only ever had great food from there! We only buy vege/vegan options and I’ve heard the meat isn’t great so maybe that’s why but I cannot recommend more for great vege options. The tofu in black bean sauce is amazing
We had been avoiding ordering Chinese or Thai food after the quality of the meals from our usual place went downhill. Only having two choices on Just Eat because of the lockdown, we chose to try Cai Ba because most of the reviews were good and the menu was varied with both Thai and Chinese dishes. The only issue with ordering was that the spring roll filling was not listed. So I called the restaurant and requested vegetable spring rolls, which was no problem with the very helpful person that I spoke to. When the food arrived, without a long wait, we were very happy with the dishes we had ordered. They were delicious and better than any delivery we have had in a long time. We ordered sweet and sour pork Hong Kong style, beef with black bean sauce, beef satay, noodles and bean sprouts. All excellent and we both wished that we could fit more in because we didn’t want to stop eating. I think we will be ordering from Cai Ba regularly!

Food is good, not much of a dine in place as more for takeaway or delivery, most of the times piping hot when delivered.
Now new owners the food is very good and very fresh. Prices are reasonable too.
Have seen the local ratings and not true. Great food owner is amazing and as a local takeaway .

This place has the best Chinese food in Bedford HANDS DOWN. We have tried all others and are very particular when it comes to takeaways. The portions are big and the food is all flavoursome.
