Kings Arms is a brilliant place for drinking after work, with friends in the evening and highly recommend the lunches, especailly the mushroom omlette and chips
Proper Pub!!! Good Beer, Great Music Venue.
I'm writing this review as a music performer at the Kings Arms.....apart from a scarcity of plug sockets so we had to be creative with our extensions I can't find any fault with the kings arms, their staff and customers. We had an absolute blast playing last night (30/01/16). Sean and his team run a great pub and offer a very good array of drinks. If i lived in bedford I would definitely make this a regular haunt. The customers were friendly and the atmosphere was fantastic. Thanks all :-)
Exellent landlord & staff /beer / food / with great live music at the weekends. Nuff said try it.

Wonderful place to go and have a meal and a drink, the manager and all the team are very welcoming. The pub garden is very well looked after and a great place to sit and relax. Good place to go for a weekend and listen to some great bands. Will be returning soon .

Popped a group off us for a drink service was very good. Sat in garden good atmosphere but then somebody turned the music up a couldn't hold conversation that was only down side

My local, best landlord in Bedford. Friendly, simply my favourite pub in my beloved town. Can do all occasions, I’ve had work do’s, birthdays, sports, all events including Saint Patrick’s day all great times. Bands most Saturdays and a fab cook (Sean landlord is the chef superb). Recommend for anyone!!!
Fab night watching Skimmington Ride. I've not been out in Bedford for a while and the atmosphere and the people were great.

We were looking for somewhere to have a Sunday roast lunch in Bedford and we found a great place here! We regularly have a drink here but didn't even know they served food. The landlord cooks it all from scratch and it was a very generous meal for a good price. With some trad puds if you still have room! Thanks Sean and co!

An under rated pub that doesn't get the credit it should because it's just out side off town and not in the spotlight
I'm mid 40s and in a charming way it hasn't changed much since I was 17 maybe you could call it old fashioned but in a good honest quality way
In a time where we are loosing traditional pubs at around 10 a week this one's a suviver and worth giving your support
Popped in for a quick drink and ended up staying for about 4 hours + and had an enjoyable afternoon chatting with the guvnor. Its a friendly well managed pub with great Guinness and a good selection of other beers, largers and spirits.
Its the oldest pub in Bedford and would recommend a visit.

Shawn runs a great pub, brilliant music and food is fresh. We have enjoyed afew good events there just recently. Bar staff very friendly too.
