Wonderful place to go and have a meal and a drink, the manager and all the team are very welcoming. The pub garden is very well looked after and a great place to sit and relax. Good place to go for a weekend and listen to some great bands. Will be returning soon .

Popped a group off us for a drink service was very good. Sat in garden good atmosphere but then somebody turned the music up a couldn't hold conversation that was only down side

My local, best landlord in Bedford. Friendly, simply my favourite pub in my beloved town. Can do all occasions, I’ve had work do’s, birthdays, sports, all events including Saint Patrick’s day all great times. Bands most Saturdays and a fab cook (Sean landlord is the chef superb). Recommend for anyon

We were looking for somewhere to have a Sunday roast lunch in Bedford and we found a great place here! We regularly have a drink here but didn't even know they served food. The landlord cooks it all from scratch and it was a very generous meal for a good price. With some trad puds if you still have

Popped in for a quick drink and ended up staying for about 4 hours + and had an enjoyable afternoon chatting with the guvnor. Its a friendly well managed pub with great Guinness and a good selection of other beers, largers and spirits.
Its the oldest pub in Bedford and would recommend a visit.

Shawn runs a great pub, brilliant music and food is fresh. We have enjoyed afew good events there just recently. Bar staff very friendly too.
