We held my dad’s wake at The Bluebell on Friday. A lovely friendly pub, with great bar staff. Nothing was too much trouble and the food was just amazing. A great selection of fresh, very full sandwiches and the hot food was just that. Everyone said how lovely it was. Bar prices and buffet price very good value. I would definitely recommend you for any occasion. Thank you for making us so welcome and for being so accommodating on an incredibly hard day.
Fantastic pub! Had a party on Sat 18th, the buffet was amazing and so were the staff, didn't have to wait long to be served even tho the pub was very busy. Thank u to all at The Bluebell

Beautiful pub and setting for any event, from a sunday dinner, too a private function!
I just recently had my daughters christening reception at the bluebell and I couldn't fault a thing! The staff were all friendly and always had a smile on their face, nothing was to much to ask and all guests were catered for. Everything was made to look beautiful and just as we had imagined, from the decorations to the 5* Buffett they had provided.
Booking a function was done with ease and everything was sorted with no fuss or trouble.
I would 100% book another function with the bluebell all the guests including myself had a wonderful day and enjoyed their experience with the bluebell from start to finish.
So many compliments were given by guests about the venue. A massive thankyou to all the staff on the day who were visible and to those behind the scenes at the bluebell on the 1st of October. One last thankyou to Martin and Gary as our function couldn't have happened at all without either of them, wonderful wonderful people.
Just moved to Bedford and I think I've just found my new local. Friendly bar staff, nice beer garden. Coming here from here on in.
Just had a wake here. Was short notice but the new owners were great at organising this for us, and made us feel very comfortable . A lovely environment and really welcoming staff. Thank you very much . Would definitely recommend.

Really nice to have a place to visit after work on an occasional Friday afternoon, glad to see the place has been refurbished to a good standard, and the lunch menu seems very popular. Well done, it was in a really bad state a year ago, and the decor put me off visiting, will be back again soon for a visit

If you’re a sports fan then this is a great pub - loads of screens throughout along with a dart board and pool table too. Plenty of space should you be in a group and quiet areas throughout as well. Outside there’s a good garden, split into two areas , which is tidy and well kept. Friendly bar staff and a good vibe throughout - a really nice pub.
Went here for lunch with a friend and had a fantastic experience, food was excellent value for money and came very quickly once we had ordered it, the food was of brilliant quality. Chips were piping hot and delicious and my burger had a magnificent taste! Portion sizes were generous and both myself and my friend struggled to finish. Drinks were lovely and staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend and I would give 6 stars if I could. ❤️
What a lovely boozer. Popped in at lunchtime on my work travels and was pleasantly surprised. The decor inside is very nice, done to a high standard and well maintained. A good selection of drinks in a well stocked bar. Nice outside areas which are also well maintained. And a nice sports bar area with multiple dart boards and a pool table. Very clean and nice friendly staff... 👌🏻
Dj'd there for a charity gig. Great pub. Great atmosphere. Bar staff good fun and friendly. Also do nice food. Well worth a visit
Went for lunch..hadnt booked but they.managed to squeeze us in..lovely armchairs..very friendly pub ..they.couldbt have been more helpful..steak and guinness pie was excellent my husband said ..and my jacket potato and prawns was lovely.. had a great time
Literally was passing through and not many places open on a Monday. So pleasantly supprised food was lovely and the staff were exceptionally good highly recommend. Young lady behind the bar was most accommodating thank u pie of the day was bang on👊

We are from Birmingham and today visited family in Bedford so pre-booked a table at The Bluebell. From start to finish the service was excellent, the staff were so polite and attentive. The food came out piping hot, perfectly sized and delicious. Quality comfort food. Will definitely visit again. Thank you for a great afternoon 😊

Today 02/12/22 myself and 4 friends had Christmas lunch.
The staff were very friendly and our table laid out with crackers. Got drinks at the bar, and our food quickly came. We were all very happy with the quality, quantity and tastiness of the food. The desert didnt disappoint and my Christmas Pudding was delicious. Teas and coffee to finish and we were well satisfied.
The place was very busy but the staff had everything under control. The place very clean and inviting.
Well done to you all for your hard work and attention to detail. Complements also to the chef.

A Great Pub That Even When Busy Is Relaxing. A Perfect Local Pub.
Went for a Sunday roast with family. The choice was roast beef or lamb. The Yorkshire puddings are huge. Roast potatoes, carrots, broccoli, peas & gravy. Delicious! Will be back for another.
Great local with a good selection of beers and decent pub grub. Shows all major sports events and has a nice beer garden.
Nice friendly pub, the toilets were sparkling clean and the bar area was in great decorative order and very clean as well. The bar staff were chatty and friendly, fair selection of beers available on my visit. Didn't try the food, however the selection looked good so will definitely come back for food and drink.
