Delicious food- this restaurant has been here 15 years- that’s how you know it’s good! The manager came over and sat with us at the end as we were leaving and we had a wonderful chat, all the people dining there - he said goodbye to and he said everyone eating there had come before. He genuinely cared for his customers.
He also does a huge amount of takeaways via JUST EAT.
I loved the bubble wall near the door and it’s blue glow is what caught my eye and made me want to go there and the fact that one of my best friends comes here every month or more and recommended it to me.
My husband and I will definitely come back. Prices are good too!!
The best prawn curry and rice I've ever had will definitely be ordering from them again.. hats of to the chef
Just had my second takeaway in a month from Blue Ginger. The food was superb especially the Spicy Garlic Chicken.
Owner and staff are very friendly and even recommended a nice starter.

The men in the restaurant were lovely and gave us a free extra poppadom. The food was absolutely amazing and was ready for collection quickly. It was my first time ordering from here and was sceptical about trying a new place but I am definitely going to be ordering from here from now on 😁

From the moment we entered to saying goodbye, the service here was brilliant. The staff are superb and make you feel so welcome it’s like dining with family. The water feature as you enter is really nice but the artwork throughout the rest of the dining area is somewhat questionable given the erotic nature! It’s a modern Indian restaurant without the normal cultural photos and vibe. The table was large and clean and the whole visit really comfortable.
The menu is a lot more concise than most other Indians but that’s a positive; it was easy to select a dish even with some unique specials available. The small dining area meant the staff were really responsive at taking the order and always available throughout for drink orders and queries.
The food was really good. Portion size was spot on and everything was tasty and cooked well. I did find that the spice levels were low so even ordering their hottest dish was mild to my taste, so worth considering asking for extra if you’re a heat lover. Other than that I struggled to find any other issues though - presentation was great and it was totally enjoyable.
It’s a popular choice for takeaways but dining in certainly offers a better experience and if I’m looking for a local Indian meal in the future I’ll most likely be returning here!
Ordered for delivery and had the lamb korma which is to die for! The meat is so tender and melts in your mouth. The sauce was creamy and not too sweet. Also ordered the prawn curry and not overly spicy but very tasty. If you looking for good Indian food.. Blue Ginger is the place to eat.
Very nice and cozy atmosphere. Quirky decor with a bubble wall as you walk in. Small restaurant area, great service, great tasty food. Quick service, and a good menu choice. Visited on a Wednesday night and it was pretty full, so booked a table which was waiting for us when we arrived.

Delicious food, friendly staff, excellent service, and lovely, clean restaurant. The saffron rice was the best rice I'd ever eaten and the main dish was excellent too. Prices were also very fair; you can have a full meal here and a drink without breaking the bank and that's just so rare these days.
It was so good I came back the next night with all of my coworkers I was travelling here with.
Absolutely perfect. The food was great (probably the best I've had in the UK), service was pleasant, we were warmly welcomed and I could not say even one bad word. I highly recommend this place, I'll be definitely visiting more often!
Food tasted great and nice portion sizes with lots of chicken pieces. Food was hot and we didnt have to wait long. Staff were friendly. We will eat here again thank you.

This is one of my most favourite places to eat and in my personal opinion the best Indian restaurant anywhere.
Visitors are treated like guests with a warm welcome and attentive service where nothing is too much trouble. I have met several vegan dinners here as Blue Ginger has a great choice of meal options to suite many dietary needs.
The food is exceptional, flavoursome and spiced to your own needs if you make your requirements know.
The restaurant is small and intimate with a really family friendly atmosphere.

Just had a delivery on deliveroo and literally can't recommend this restaurant enough! We're always skeptical about Indian food as we know what we like. We ordered onion bahjis, veg samosas, chicken korma and chicken massala all of which were delicious. We also had keema and peshwari naan which were equally as nice. Food came earlier than estimated time and the price was reasonable. Highly recommended 5* from us
