Had a beautiful meal with friends last night and we were not disappointed. Amazing staff who throughout the evening ensured we were happy. The food was amazing and the quality of the food against value for money is unbeatable. Normally when out for dinner we would go for food and leave to go to a bar. we stayed for over 3 hours as did most diners and enjoyed the atmosphere. The restaurant then gave out more complementary food for everyone to try. Followed by a beautiful desert and a shot of limoncello. Fantastic evening with great atmosphere, food and brilliant staff. can't wait to come again !!!
Amazing food ! Authentic Italian taste.The staff were all so friendly and helpful with menu choices . I can't wait to go back with my friends so we can try more of the delicious food. I could have had one of everything on the menu today but I ate so much I thought I might pop.i loved it !
Lovely family meal for my daughter’s 18th Birthday. Food was delicious and it just kept coming with the Tapas menu option. Staff very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Very child friendly too. Thank you for making our evening special �
Well 5+ plus rating overall as I couldn't have asked for a better place to hold my 40th birthday celebrations. Great welcoming family run business and they looked after everything so I didn't have to stress. Amazing food and service and they even allowed me to have an ice cream van on site to make my day so special. I love The Higgins Pantry. I've eaten there on several occasions with my husband, friends and in a large party. All times the food has been wonderful and the service is so nice and friendly. The food is absolutely amazing and I can't wait to go back there again soon. I'm loving the outside dining with the singers they have at the moment - exactly the kind of life I should be living, and am ;)
We regularly visit the Pantry and can highly recommend the food and great service. I recently celebrated my 40th birthday there with over 40 of us having dinner. Rose and the team were super accommodating, the set menu was delicious and great value for money and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves!

We went to the pantry on Saturday night for my 40 th birthday . There was 14 of us . I could not fault a thing the food was amazing as was the service . The staff were polite and helpful and the entertainment was also amazing . Can't wait till my next visit here

Great food, came out quickly and looked amazing, good value for money! but the place was so loud you couldn't hear the other people on the table. The music and with other tables practically shouting all evening we felt a little put off
Wow, how have I only just discovered this place?! Absolutely cannot wait to return. The pasta was incredible, so tasty and the perfect portion size, my fiance demolished his steak, and don't even get me started on the brownie, best I've ever had. The staff clearly love their job, very friendly and accommodating and the premises itself is great, lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Can't wait to visit again! X

This wasn't my first time dining at 'The Pantry' so my expectations were high after previous postive experiences with their service and food, however this is my first review of this friendly and well known Bedford Italian eatery. On arrival we were given a warm welcome by the front of house staff and were shown to our table promptly. There was certainly plenty of space between tables which in my opinion certainly made it covid friendly. The informal, warm and relaxed atmosphere certainly encourages a postive and enjoyable dining experience also. We ordered six tapas dishes off of the tapas menu which were delicious, freshly cooked and vibrant. I would certainly recommend you try the sautéed King Prawns and the Whitebait which were very moreish!! For my main course I ordered the Pasta Cozze which was spaghetti with mussels cooked in a white wine sauce with cherry tomatoes. All my mussels were prepared, and cooked beautifully. The spaghetti was perfectly al-dente which I prefer, and in my opinion is just how it should be cooked. My wife ordered the chicken cutlet with fries and salad which she enjoyed. The bread crumb coating covering the chicken wasn't soaked in oil but delightfully golden brown and crispy. We also sampled the lobster ravioli which was cooked to perfection along with a homemade
pizza which my son really enjoyed. It has been a while since we had previously dined at the pantry, but I can honestly say in my opinion the service and food has remained excellent. Thank you for an excellent lunch, and we will certainly return again soon.

Superb, always friendly, food is very tasty and accessible, pizza is excellent too. Great vegan broccoli salad. Just wished there were a couple of other vegan options. You won't be disappointed with anybody the dishes here though. Great for couples, groups, families and seniors. Unusual to find a place which gets it right at all points.

We wanted an Italian pizza and we found it here. Tasty and you will be not disappointed. Before I only tried lasagne for takeaway. Definitely need to return to try something else.
The best gluten free pizza I have ever eaten. Soft base ( not the usual gf thin, hard base) and very generous, tasty toppings. Service very helpful and friendly. Very pleasant restaurant.
My second time here and will definitely be back! Fantastic atmosphere with Sergio singing. We regularly attended the Italian Nights he performed at the Icon Hotel in Luton before COVID forced its closure and we're so glad that Higgins Pantry have him to provide such great entertainment occasionally. We had the set menu and, as before, the food was excellent! Can't believe how much food we had at such great quality and taste for £20 a head. We spent more on our drinks! 😊 Can't wait to return with other friends and family to share a fabulous night with them 👍
I went to the Higgins Pantry with a friend for lunch.
I had the smoke salmon and avocado sour dough bread and it was very good.
What made it a perfect trip was their tiramisu which I have never tried before and it is home made.
This was beyond doubt the best dessert I have ever had in my life and a welcome surprise I was not expecting.
I hope to return there in the future for a bigger meal.
I am happy to recommend the Higgins Pantry to one and all.

It was a delicious dinner with my girlfriend, we like the Italian cuisine. The restaurant located in a great and quiet atmosphere. We’ll definitely come back again. The staff is very friendly and went extra miles for us.

The food is awesome and the service is excellent. Portions are great: you won't leave here hungry. I highly reccommend the parmagiana. One of the best I've had. And the robster ravioli is divine and so indulgent; creamy dishes can sometimes lack flavour but these guys know how to bring flavour to a dish. Came and sat outside in Dec (twice) with friends for dinner just before the lockdown restrictions tightened and it was a joy. Had a real apres ski feel. Was pretty, with the lights on the olive tree in the middle and the heaters and layers kept us warm! Hope these guys can weather the covid storm. Thank you, Higgins Pantry team! The customer service here is exceptional. I've only ever popped in for a hot chocolate when visiting the museum it's attached to but the service has still been noticeably good. I always receive the warmest of welcomes by the man who is regularly on the counter.
