Fabulous food, not a curry house but a restaurant that does authentic Indian food. My fiancé is gluten and lactose intolerant and the selection for her was perfect, they even have gluten free beer which I also had in preference to Cobra. We worth the visit, I travelled from Southport for the 3rd time to taste their excellent cuisine

If you're fed up of the regular menus then go here, fantastic southern Indian cooking, lovely spiced dishes, different breads and a superb atmosphere and staff, if you like your fish curried then you're in for a treat.
Great food, great service. Very friendly, helpful staff. Good value too. Some of the best Indian food I have had in the uk, and I've had a lot. If you want something different try the dosa! Will be going back!

Having just returned from a holiday visiting Kerala, we tried The Cohin and it was excellent. Dishes not normally found in other restaurants were very tasty. I would recommend to a my friends.

Excellent authentic indian restaurant. you won't find any chicken tikka/korma/vindalo/rogan dishes. Everything so unique and authentic dishes from kerala region. Delicious dosa and amazing variety of seafood dishes.

We had such a lovely meal tonight 09/08/21. The waiter, we didn't catch his name, but he was so lovely and polite and really helpful and attentive. Perfect service, great food, very reasonably priced, we would go again! Don't be put off by the poor decor and outer appearance and go inside for some great food!!
On holiday and happen to come across this restaurant. I can honestly say the best food iv ever had . Staff so friendly . Food amazing . Very helpful. . Will definitely be visiting again next time we're hear . .

One of the best South Indian restaurants in Bedford. It serves a variety of options including vegetarian and non vegetarian dishes. The theme is Kerela based and the ambience is really good with pictures and paintings depicting Bharat🇮🇳. Must try the fish recipes and the variety of dosas as well.
Excellent Indian affair doing delicious dosa and seafood curries. Also very friendly staff. One small critique was that the idli was slightly undercooked, but everything else was perfect.

Basic, no frills cafe style eatery with friendly, attentive staff with warm, genuine smiles. Big portions and very modestly priced. Alcohol is served here.
Honestly, I think this is a secret gem of a place for tasty Indian food. The dosas are easily two foot long, crispy, just the right thickness and generously filled. I really loved the Keralan spiced chicken daal dish too.

Very, very authentic. The breads are amazing and suggest you try a few! Not a normal Indian but very close to the food we have eaten in South India. Very highly recommended.

The best south Indian food in the town. Having real authentic indian taste in food. The quick food service and staff is very good and friendly. They offered extra saambhar and chutney free of charge. Must visit this place.

Don't be put off by the unassuming exterior as inside is a culinary gem with delicious flavours of Kerala.
My starter was Chicken Ulatarthiyathu - lovely juicy cubes of chicken cooked in turmeric water, then stir fried with pepper powder, curry leaves and coconut slivers. The chicken was lovely and tender, there was a good amount of heat and there was the lovely taste of coconut highlighting the dish.
For my main I had the Lamb & Spinach Curry. The lamb was lovely and tender - and plenty of it - in a thick complex masala sauce with a lovely hint of cashews.
The Okra masala was the best I've ever tasted and the okra still had a crunch to it. The tamarind rice was lovely and a nice change and the paratha was absolutely delicious.
The wines were a very reasonable price - our Chilean Merlot was only £14.95 - and we were served water without having to ask.
The service was excellent, the cooking was fantastic and with the recent events in Kerala you should go and show support for such a different part of India - and I managed to park right outside.
I cant wait to return and try more of the excellent food.

Thanks for having us. (NB- to book the table, call them directly. Online booking option was showing later time.. but they were able to accommodate us earlier than that).
It is one of the finest authentic South Indian Restaurant. The food was really delicious. Especially lamb coconut fry with paratha must try combo.
