I have Been to this place so many times and it's about time I Ieave a review, best place for Indian food in Bedford. The staff are very friendly, and the food is great! Always busy which is a good sign! Thumbs up
A great place to meet and eat. We were not rushed and asked if we were ready for our courses in advance. The menu was extensive and the food very good.
It's the best in Bedford, been coming here for 16 years! It has ambiance, excellent food and amazing staff who are very attentive, go try it, you won't try anywhere else once you do.

A really lovely restaurant. Came upon it a few weeks on a visit to my son who attends Bedford Uni. So booked it again for this evening for my husbands birthday. Very accommodating, friendly, helpful staff. I forgot to buy a birthday cake and asked if I could have a candle come out in an ice cream and was told that someone would go to the local shop and buy a birthday cake. We will defiantly be back next time we're in Bedford! Thank you.

We always go to Indiya for our curry. Best in Bedford both to eat in & takeaway. Staff always friendly & polite. Food always fresh, full of flavour & very good portion size. Advisable to book as it is always busy at the weekend. Recently underwent a refurbishment which enhances the whole experience. Definitely 5 *****!
Although service was a little slow the food was definitely worth the wait. Best Indian meal I've had I think. Was really busy so worth booking a table in advance.

I recently dined at Indiya where Jimmy provided exceptional service. His knowledge of the menu and recommendations made my dining experience truly enjoyable. The food was delicious, and Jimmy's attentive and friendly service added to the overall satisfaction of the evening.
The best and most amazing Indian food of Bedford I can say. We organised our baby's first get-together. From the day of our planning to the last minute of leaving...the entire staff, manager and cook were so hospitable. I and all our guests were so mesmerised by the reception, food quality, and proportion customisation...the staff gave us the dining experience of a star restaurant. Now my all guests have scheduled to throw their party here only in Bedford. They even took care of kids and teens who were allergic to foods by giving replacements...without charging extra. I am speechless with everything we received. We forgot to bring a few things back home. The very next evening I was again warmly welcomed and I felt so amazing. Dining is not just a business for them...also keeping diners happy so that they keep returning it the key to their success.
Excellent food, atmosphere was relaxed and vibrant (already beginning to get busy at 5pm Saturday). Lovely decor with the fabulous fish tank. Would definitely recommend this spot for small dinners or big gatherings. Plenty of parking right next door. The food was so authentic and tasty :) Service was wonderful. 5 star from us!

A large group of us came to Bedford for the night as we were on our way home from a trip and decided to come to Indiya to dine.
I’ve had a fair share of Indian food (in the UK), but never as good as this. The condiments that came out with the poppadoms were amazing, the food was just incredible. Days later and I’m still thinking about the food, sad that I live over 100 miles away and most likely won’t get to eat there again. But if I am ever in Bedford, it’ll be the first place I go.

We do have a lot of great ones to choose from around here, but this is the undisputed jewel in the crown for Indian restaurants in Bedford! As a lifelong Bedford resident, my first time here was long overdue, but it was certainly worth the wait.
The service was excellent, and we caught up with the head waiter and regaled about how the restaurant has managed to survive the pandemic, and long may it continue.
The wine selection had been specially selected, and we certainly chose well with the Pierre La Casse merlot from France.
I can personally recommend the king prawn butterfly for starters, and the green coriander duck curry cooked medium. It was well-balanced, refreshing and aromatic. The mushroom rice was also well made and used the perfect amount of ghee. Some Indian restaurants make the mistake of drowning the rice in butter, and I was relieved to see that they had not done so this time.
You can bet that we'll be back again soon! 🍛

I chose this restaurant at random, mainly due to parking restrictions, long story don't ask .... And at first glance thought that it looked very top end ... And went in, it was Saturday night 6 pm, and to my surprise it was almost empty. However the food was simply wonderful. One of the best I have had in a long time. Excellent choice on the menu, and great taste. I was disappointed by the service, I felt that , I was , as a table for one, " in the way" . However I would most definitely recommend this restaurant.

Very quiet when we arrived on a Wednesday evening but did get busy later on. Excellent service and food, especially the Indiya Sizzler and Stuffed pepper starter , well recommended.
Visited on Thursday 1 July 2021. Had booked a table, but didn't need to. Food was excellent. Shared the Fresh Salmon Cakes and Fushkas for starters. Never seen Fushkas before, but they were very good. I will look out for them on the menu. Had the Moghul Chicken for my main. My wife had the King Prawn Balti.
For some unknown reason, we were the only customers in the restaurant, so we were able to have a long chat with the owner, who was forthcoming about the struggles of running a restaurant during the pandemic.
Thoroughly enjoyable evening. The staff were friendly and efficient. The decor is nice, with the fish tank making an interesting centrepoint.
Will definitely visit again when I am next in Bedford.

Amazing!! One of the best Indian restaurants I’ve been to. Firstly, the decor is so stunning, they have really put thought into the look of the restaurant which makes such a difference! The food was fantastic, we tried the Calves liver curry and Bengal spiced lamb curry with pilau rice and special fried rice. Great quality and freshly cooked curries, truly an experience! And finally, the service was amazing, so friendly and welcoming and very attentive to details! We will definitely be visiting again!
Very entertaining lunch with my wife and her work colleagues. Very friendly welcome and very a good range if dishes. Very convenient parking, albeit not a council-owned one so fees do apply on Sunday, but only £1.80, so not too bad.
