Zoe who served us Friday night was amazing as was Carrie on breakfast cover on Sunday. Food was delicious and portions were great. Big group of happy customers. Big thumbs up - would recommend if you’re visiting the area.

We visited a couple of times during a family camping holiday where we stayed nearby. Our first visit was on my son's birthday, we were wet and in need of a good meal. The service and dog friendly bar area was great. The bar customers even joined in with a jolly happy birthday sing-a-long, when they realised we had candles brought out on his dessert! Such a great atmosphere, and a gorgeous location. Definitely the best in the village. One of the main things we really appreciated, was being rescued with certain feminine supplies by a wonderful young lady that works there called Emily S. I had missed a local shop by a few minutes, she said she'd sort me out, then appeared with a beautiful hand made crochet bag with said supplies inside. She really went above and beyond, saying I could keep them and not to worry. I am very grateful. I had asked at the bar if they (as the bar is also the hotel reception) had any of these supplies, as they didn't, I would recommend a small assortment be available. Even though this would have been handy, I do love the idea of locally hand crafted bags made by a talented local, being available with supplies to buy/in exchange for a donation, especially as there are no shops open nearby after around six. We will most definitely return next year during our next stay nearby. Thank you to all the staff, especially Emily!

We had evening meals at The Prince twice over a weekend. Both meals were booked in advance, we had our dogs with us. Had no problems. Meal was as advertised, Staff polite, tables and chairs were clean and tidy. We will be returning.

Stayed here for the weekend and it exceeded all our expectations. OK the twin room we stayed in was a little tired but everything else was perfect. Super white bath sheets, super comfy bed and exceptionally clean. The view over the river was amazing and the food fantastic, good pub food cooked well. We were always greeted with a friendly smile at the bar particularly by Kay who was lovely and nothing was too much trouble. if I have to give a negative it would be that service was a little slow during busy periods but for us that wasn't an issue... why rush in such a beautiful place. If you want 5* luxury and dislike dogs then stay elsewhere. If you want great views, good food a comfy bed, dog friendly and welcoming staff this is the place for you.

We stopped in for my birthday lunch after hill walking. It’s super located being right on the town near the river and bridge. There’s a local shop and bus stop nearby as is the Beddgelert Train Station. The lads serving behind the bar were very good, friendly and took the orders with no issues. The burger with halloumi was superb and probably the best burger I’ve ever had. That good! It must be quality meat. Well worth a visit for breakfast or after a walk

We went here after climbing Snowdon. The staff were extreemly friendly and opened up an extra section for the sudden influx of people. The food was very fast, hot and tasty. They went out of their way to get music on in the extra room and were very helpful when I needed a bit of a phone charge

Always friendly in here and they allow dogs which is not the same with some of the neighbouring establishments. Sat outside this time and had a lovely drink after a walk around the hills I've only ever been here for the bar so I can't say anything about rooms and staying there

Had to wait a long time to get served but food and drink was good. Too many dogs in the bar area for our liking.

My husband and I have just returned home after spending 5days at this hotel. Yes it needs updating and making it a bit more disabled friendly with handrails etc, and informing potential residents that the 2nd floor is not suitable for disabled residents having said that the STAFF are absolutely fantastic nothing but nothing is too much trouble and they are just brilliant. THANK YOU ALL for making our break so enjoyable. Bless you all and hope to see you all again. Xxx John & Mary Wilson Mbe

Lovely little pub in a lovely location! We only went in for a quick pint but they were happy with our group of 8. We had two dogs with us too. We didn’t eat but was a pleasant experience all the same, they had corona on draft too which we liked! Lovely view from the beer garden as well.

After visiting and receiving an awful service at Caffi Gwynant in village next door, I decided to leave and drove to Beddgelert. I was looking for a dog friedly pub to have some food after hiking Snowdon. Bumped into a couple who recommended this place and oh my I was not disappointed! Great prices, amazing food (had veggie halloumi burger) and lovely staff, which was such a nice experience after being treated horribly in place mention earlier. Thank you Guys, I highly recommend for food, pint and good atmosphere!

Cant comment on the rooms but a lovely little pub with nice outdoor courtyard, been several times over the last 12 months and always find great views, decent pint, dog friendly and relaxing. Always has a nice atmosphere due to being busy and always a welcoming face.

Great pub and great food. It's a very clean and cosy location where you can enjoy a pint and some cheesy chips. Great music and very friendly staff. They also have an outside garden. It's definitely a place to come

Came for dinner after climbing Snowdon. Have been before but never eaten....what a delight!! Food was amazing, not stingy on portions either 👌 we had the crispy chicken burger, cheesy garlic bread and a Pepperoni flat bread.....proper decent grub!!! Staff lovely too. Served by 2 young lads at the bar. Very clean, glasses fresh, cutlery polished. All in all a great experience! Highly recommend!! Thank you x x

In a lovely part of wales. You had to go up to the bar to have service but the staff are friendly. Didn’t go to the rooms therefore they are no stars

A child and dog friendly hotel and pub in the village of Beddgelert in North Wales. The bar staff were friendly and welcoming, and we had a very pleasant bar lunch. Well worth a visit

Yeah good place we rocked up without a booking and we were provided with a room £100 for a shared room. Only grumble I have is we were told breakfast is included with the room and we found ourselves paying for breakfast. So make sure you get it in writing or ask for permission to record the conversation.
