Lovely service and a nice, restful-feel cafe. Lots of tables for just one or two people and some bigger tables for bigger groups.
The chocolate cake was tasty and the coffee done very nicely (was Italian coffee I believe)
Went here today with my husband. We both ordered the big breakfast. A BIG breakfast arrived. Excellent food and really friendly staff.
It's a small quaint cafe, but excellent décor, social distance rules adhered to.
If you go to Bedale put this on your list to go.

Lovely cakes, and selection of food and drinks. Staff were friendly and decor comfortable four stars as when we got the the bill they'd overcharged us. It was rectified and it wouldn't put us off going back
Had a nice latte & slice of cake here today, friendly staff & well organised with hand sanitiser & taking customer details. Only down side the toilet seat & floor were wet & toilet roll holder hanging off wall.
Excellent cafe. Really made to feel welcome. All food freshly prepared and good prices. The afternoon tea looked fantastic.
What a fantastic cafe, we had 2 days in Bedale and went in for coffee, then back for breakfast. A lovely atmosphere, friendly knowledgable staff and just a lovely place to relax.
Arguably the first 'smart' café in Bedale it set a new standard locally for interesting takes on traditional fare and a modern setting. Always have pleasant staff and a relaxed atmosphere.
I use Aunt Sally's on a regular basis, the food is always excellent and the service prompt and polite. If you really want to treat yourself try their sausage and mash.
Visited not long before closing on new years eve but nothing was too much trouble the staff were amazing just had toasties and a drink but was very nice . Would go back again when visiting Bedale
