Nice place to stay quiet on an evening. Rooms lovely and big and clean and comfortable. Bed nice feather duvet and pillows. Food nice lovely Sunday lunch. And nice breakfast. Friendly staff .

Great froendly staff, cosy and stylish rooms, excellent food and beers. 300 year old building which is fascinating if you're into old architecture. Situated in quiet village 10 minutes from Leeming Bar which was ideal for our Polar Exprress visit. Definitely recommend and we'll definitely be back. 1

We had the loveliest meal at this perfect little pub in Hackforth. Such a warm welcome and friendly service. The mushroom starter was heavenly and the steaks delicious too. We’ll definitely be back when we next find ourselves in North Yorkshire!
