Went here for a family meal due to having a dog we had to eat outside in a sheltered area. Staff were really helpful and friendly looking after us. Set menu but also specials on board inside the pub. Between us we had Thai chicken green curry (nice and spicy). Sea bass fillets with salad and chips.
We were staying nearby and (luckily) couldn't get in to the local so searched around for a decent pub to go with the family. A great little gem of Yorkshire. I can not recommend this lovely little pub enough. My first meal out in so long and lovely home cooked food and the sticky toffee pudding was to die for and I dont have desserts that often but this was one of the best I've ever had. The staff so warm and friendly it'
The food was excellent and there was a very good variety of choices on the menu. The staff were very friendly and attentive. I can definitely recommend this pub and will certainly be visiting it again.

Called in on the off chance without booking and the landlord was very welcoming and accommodating. The food was great, well worth a visit.

Went for Sunday lunch actually chose from special boards. 1 had lamb shank the other had vegetarian option. Both were really good. Well cooked very hot, plain food suited us perfectly. Staff were excellent too. Will definitely go back.
Lovely meal last night. Highly recommend the duck balls and arrancini starters. The veg with the steak pie came with a bit of crunch - perfect. Will be back to try more. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff.
Great traditional pub with excellent food and service. Staff couldnt have been more helpful especially as i need gluten free food, nothing was too much trouble.

Lovely village pub. We stopped for a light lunch and a drink. Baked brie, and a roast pork baguette; both were very tasty and well prepared. The only downside was that dogs were not allowed in the pub. However there was nice seating outside. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Would recommend

Well what can i say the couple are very friendly a good laugh and made us welcome as they was very busy.
My partner and I was staying at Cedar retreats so a little run and well worth the 3miles.
The food was amazing and cooked too perfection and plenty of it too.
