They could serve me dry bread and water, I love our pub, so I am biased when I say, that it's the best pub in the world! With a great pub sign, that I designed and painted myself! 😵

Had an amazing lunch and then evening at the Abingdon arms. The staff were really friendly and the food was awesome, the beer garden and views are fantastic too. We highly recommend this newly refurbed pub.

Really great update by the new owners of an already lovely pub. The food is even better than before and the interior changes are super subtle but change the feel of the place dramatically. Its much more open and friendly inside. The drink selection has been expanded to include some very interesting gins which is perfect. The view from the garden is of course still there, it's now not the main reason to visit the pub.

Our first time back since the pub reopened and we had a lovely evening. The food was delicious. I had the veg tart and my friends had fish and chips and the fish cake(which she said was the best she’d ever had). The treacle tart was gorgeous as was the brownie(apparently). The service was good and the staff were very friendly. So glad this pub has reopened- we’ll be back to do a walk and have lunch sometime soon.

Great food at a great price and a decent portion your left feeling like a Christmas turkey. Stuffed!

We visited here last night, totally stumbled across it whilst we were in the area and so glad we did! Fantastic food (we started with the fish cakes and then I had the homemade pie and husband had the cheeseburger and pudding of course! panna cotta), lovely atmosphere, friendly staff, only wish we were staying longer we would definitely go back.

Best Sunday lunch I've ever had! So many wonderful veg varieties, as well as beautifully cooked meat and perfect yorkshires and potatoes. Relaxed and friendly but efficient service and our exhausted cocker spaniel (we had just finished a long walk) received a fresh bowl of water and a dog treat so we all felt very welcome!

Nice atmosphere, different areas in the pub for different parties. The chocolate fondant with salted caramel ice cream and forest berries was excellent, one of the best desserts I've ever had! Parking a little precarious but can't be helped.

Lovely place, highly recommend the pizza!! The only thing we didn't like was the soup of the day, much too sour and weird taste. But otherwise lovely vibes. Pizza definitely one of the best I've ever had

I've been here a few times now. Inside is quite small, so it's probably a good idea to book, but outside is massive. Large covered seating area with a pizza serving area outside which looks and smells amazing and the views are brilliant as well. Staff are friendly as well.

It’s a local community owned pub. On a good day the view is spectacular, you can see out across the fields looking like a chequer board. The food is good but not great and it’s not cheap. Service can be a hit or a Lille miss. The beer selection is excellent.

You can tell the quality of a good eatery by its toilets lol - I’m pleased to report they’re impeccable. Enjoyed delicious pizzas which were truly superb with the most idyllic environment to add to the ambiance. Definitely worth a stop. The author Evelyn Waugh of ‘Brideshead Revisited’ fame wrote some of his best works here.

Absolutely delightful place. We lunched there on a Saturday after the first half of our walk in the area. Menu and food superb and well-priced. Portion sizes just right and service friendly and efficient. A few well-kept beers on tap. My only sorrow was that I couldn't stay longer!

Delightful "real oldfashioned pub" with two local beers as well as standards, Service efficient yet relaxed. Food good standard trad - only tiny gripe: stew with a pastry square is not 'pie'!

Beautiful pub that is friendly and welcoming. They've put a lot of work into the garden which has plenty of space, some sheltered from the elements, and a great outdoor bar. The views are beautiful. My husband thought the beer selection was excellent, a much more interesting range than in many pubs. Pinot Grigio blush was good too. A great community effort that thoroughly deserves the support it gets!
