Very friendly staff, always polite & helpful & a pleasure to deal with hardworking people with personalities unlike some that are  are attached to well known chains on the high street. The food is always fresh & there's a good variety, clean surroundings & good value!!!

A lovely, relaxed little restaurant, with Turkish influences on the menu. Out the back, there is an outstanding outside seating area, with parasols, cushions, sun and shade. The menu is varied, from all-day breakfast, fish and chips, burgers, to Turkish influences, such as kebabs, falafel, calamari and also sandwiches! See it to believe it. Amazing good value, and cheery, attentive staff. 2 people, 2 courses each, 2 beers each, less then £30. My new favourite.

Service was fast. Food was tasty. Prices were a little expensive. Garden at the rear where you can eat is nice. Decor is well presented and thought out.

Just had a lovely breakfast at Village Bistro Café, excellent fast service with a smile from our waiter, we sat in the beautiful back court yard, a hidden gem in Beckenham. We ordered egg Benedicte and Scramble egg with smoked salmon. They were both delicious and we particular liked the excellent hollandaise sauce :) Look forward to our next visit and will also order through Deliveroo.

Visitors to beckenham - kent, you must try the english breakfast here. The service is excellent. The chef really cares about preparing a delicious breakfast 🍳. No ordinary sausages either - they seam to source premium sausages that are just yumm!

So nice to be greeted on entry. Good, friendly service. Extensive menu and the food being served to other tables looked very good and freshly cooked. I will definitely return.

First time I've visited and I really enjoyed my lunch. One full English for my other half and a delicious prawn mayo avocado sandwich for me. Very good bread and filling. The only thing we didnt like was the black pudding. Staff are friendly and will visit again.

Good for breakfast. Beans are now served hot unlike under previous management. All cafes in Beckenham are a little pricey this is likely between average and better value than average. £5.80 for standard one egg breakfast, two rashers, Cumberland sausage, toast and drink all in. Good friendly service and it's quiet and relaxing so overall good. Downside for me is they don't open till 8.

Service was good, food came quickly and was as expected, no complaints. A decent cafe, maybe a bit more expensive than some other places but about the going rate for the area. I have paid more for less in the past.

My favourite cafe in Beckenham. Lovely staff, great choice, delicious food. I especially love their breakfasts and coffee. Has a lovely garden out the back which is a sun trap in the warmer months. It's not cheap but the food and service makes it worth it

Great place! Me and my friend discovered it today, whilst looking for somewhere to have lunch with our two little boys. Great menu, both for us and the kids and an amazing service! Also lovely decor and cosy atmosphere. Will definitely be back, once they reopen after the lockdown.

A nice place to visit. Good set breakfast, well cooked and friendly efficient staff. I like that you had choices: foamy milk in a small jug with your coffee, butter to put on the bread - if you want, even the baked beans in their own little dish (because I don't like plates swimming in beans) so you could apply it in your own time. Thank you Village Bistro, a very pleasant breakfast indeed.

Was in Beckenham today and not a lot was open due to COVID restrictions. Myself and my husband fancied a coffee and wanted to support a small business rather than going to Nero or Costa. We saw The Bistro was open for takeaway so gave it a go. The coffee was lovely, the staff friendly and they let my husband use the toilet which was great. Will come back for a sit down meal when we can
