Hidden gem in the countryside. We did arrive in the dark on a Thursday evening when no one else was in the pub. The path is very narrow to get to the pub, however the place and food is amazing. Turned up at 7:30pm on a Thursday was the perfect time as we had the whole place to ourselves. Amazing foo
We stopped here for lunch after a dog walk in the beautiful surrounding area. Sat outside in the sunshine definitely works here. Service was great, food was superb and a good selection of drinks. Dogs are catered for with drinks bowls, there's plenty of areas for shade and the staff seem to like the
Such a lovely place - homely and inviting. The food is amazing along with the welcoming from staff. Been so many times I’ve lost count! Definitely worth a visit.
A regular place for us to eat and not my first review however last night's meal definitely deserves a shout out. Last minute decision to go, no problem getting a table. The service as always was friendly and accommodating but not invasive. The food is always good but this meal was the best we have h

Visited the Smokey Cow at Beckberry yesterday lunch time and enjoyed a really first class roast dinner. The meal was superb, I am not usually a fan of Sunday roasts but this was something else. The beef was melt in your mouth tender and very generous in quantity. The Smokey Cow pub was extremely ple
What a find! Food was fabulous. We had starters and a few main courses and shared across 5 people and only came to c.£15 a head. And we're stuffed! Staff were lovely. We will definitely make a special trip back again.
Visited last night for my 62nd birthday. There were 16 of us in total and everyone agreed the food was amazing as was the service and atmosphere. It was our first visit but it definitely wont be our last the whole experience was fantastic full credit to all the staff
Lovely country pub with delicious food. We had the pulled pork nachos to start with then I had the 16 hour slow cooked brisket, my wife had the half rack of ribs and chicken, both accompanied with chips and homemade coleslaw. Is your mouth watering yet? And yes they taste as good as you'd imagine. T
We went for Sunday lunch here a few weeks ago and it was amazing, the beef brisket was incredible and there was a real depth of flavour to every item on the Sunday dinner. Lovely place to go and the staff were lovely, highly recommend for Sunday dinner
Great food and lovely atmosphere. Very filling and ales on pull very well kept. Brisket was lovely
First time eating here after driving around the area and spotting it. Booked for 1400 and we were greeted by lovely staff all adhering to government guidelines. A dog friendly venue which is important for us. We sat in the marquee which is in the shade (obviously) but it is quite cool even with the
Ten of us came to the Smokey Cow for a meal. There was a good range of meals to choose from. Other than the bbq style food there was Salmon and cooked to order fish and chips. The portions are very generous too. The staff were very good hosts.
It was our first visit for my birthday lunch. The food and service was lovely but we were the only people in there, so the atmosphere was lacking. Not their fault I know, so we will visit in the evening next time.
This is a great place to eat, hidden away in a peaceful location, with lots of parking. Service is quick and the staff are friendly. The food was stunning and value for money.
Amazing steaks, the best you'll ever eat. Great location, attentive friendly staff. Love it.
