Too early in the year to comment. The Quay is a lovely sedate place, with a food outlet and a large green for children to exercise their legs. If you don't like gambling machines and crowds, this is the place to visit.

The Quay has a lovely location. Spent a few hours here with the grandchildren and they loved it. Good coffee - didn't have any food but the pasties looked lovely. We come to Beccles alot and will definitely come back. Such a relaxing area. Ample cheap parking very near by.

We had such a lovely afternoon at the Quay, we took a picnic and then went to the little shop for an ice cream. There are benches dotted along the river edge and just over the bridge there are picnic tables next to a lovely little park. The shop usually closes around 6pm but they do stay open if it’s busy, the shop has some tables & chairs both inside and outside for customers to sit at. There is a block of public toilets but when we walked past at 6pm they were closed so it’s worth checking in advance what the opening times are.

Great place to walk along the river or just sit and watch the boats go by. There is a cafe and public toilets. Car park is free but does get busy.

We come here quite often even though we live over 10 miles away for 2 reasons, 1, is that we have our niece and nephew normally once a week and we have found the children's play area to be one of the best in the area for a range of ages. 2, there's a really nice variety of walks you can take, some along the river bank with spectacular views. There's also a toilet block near a snack shack that I can't really comment on as I've not used it.

Always a delight to visit here. Boats have been moored for the winter now. Lots of space for walking with the dog, and children to play. Sadly the much needed rain started to fall this afternoon. Did not stop walkers though. We are so lucky to have this retreat.

I've been coming to the quay on and off for over twenty years and I always enjoy walking around some of Beccles' common ground adjoining before exploring the quayside. I like looking at the variety of moored boats. It's especially interesting during the summer season when the broadland holiday makers are about. The place has hardly changed over time and that's what adds to its charm. There's a charming little ice cream and beverage shop at the entrance to the town side of the quay. Where, at this time of year, I like to stop and do a bit of people watching whilst enjoying an ice cream.

Easy access to launch paddle boards, canoes and dinghies. Reasonably pay and display parking nearby. Nice cafe with outdoor seating. Good for walking and dog's.
