Very good food and friendly but polite staff. What's even better is they do a fantastic breakfast as well. Definitely recommend.

Really nice staff and the food is exceptional. Portion sizes are very good, that also reflects on the price. I would visit again and recommend anyone else.

Had a lovely meal yesterday , Pan seared lambs liver, with bacon and on a bed of mash etc , absolutely smashing . Nice beer garden and the staff were nice , although they did look a little stretched . I'll be back , assuming this review is good for discount

We discovered The Royal Oak by accident. Been twice in a week. The Sunday roast was to die for and I'm not a great fan of roasts. Great pub, great food, nice staff. Would thoroughly recommend.

Lovely pub, nice atmosphere, fantastic staff and food is so much better since some changes have been made (I believe a new chef). I really enjoyed a light bite yesterday and look forward to returning for dinner one evening.

Was treated to lunch at The Royal Oak by my good friend Adele, it was gorgeous! Had fish n chips and it was very tasty and filling because the plate was so full. Would highly recommend this eatery to anyone

My partner and I got a bit lost, popped in for something to eat, and were really happy with our meals. We ordered a lamb roast dinner and the steak and ale pie. Everything was fresh, the pie was homemade and it was all nice and hot and presented well. The staff were nice and friendly and the venue was clean. We would recommend this venue to others, and we will definitely be visiting again in the future.

We visited this pub with family. The staff were friendly and helpful and the service was decent but the food took some time to come out. They offer a good range of beers on tap. The pub can get busy as it's in a prime location so make sure you book if you really want a table. There are plenty of tables outside for extra space. The menu was a bit strange as it was a massive wooden thing, I'd ditch these in favour of a more simple one. The food was excellent value for money. I had a chicken, ham and leek pie. It was really tasty, my partner had the dirty burger which was superb. The pizza my mum had was so big she took some of it home as it was so tasty. Children's menu was good and my daughter loved the mac and cheese. Overall these were great portions and decent prices. I'd say this is a good pub and good value for money. We were so full we couldn't even contemplate the desert menu. Well worth the visit.

Lovely food with a good menu. Recommended We dropped in here on the off chance having seen the pub from the road through Beaulieu numerous times and we’re not disappointed. We had a burger and a ploughman’s… both were of a great standard and we enjoyed our meals. We sat in the garden as it was a very hot day which was also nice. We’ll try inside next time which looks like it gets busy so booking is probably advisable.

Lovely pub with a good rear garden which is a real sun trap. Breakfast is really tasty with plenty of choice on the menu. Plenty of parking out the front. Good hospitality services within with plenty of staff to serve. A second visit and the food was again really tastey and freshly cooked! Good prompt service with a smile. Car park was busy which is always a good sign for a welcoming pub.

This was just mine feeling picky and a little fussy, but still great service and very helpful. Lovely setting, old school authentic English pub. Catered for my cousins birthday and brang her dessert out with a candle as we all sung for her. Thank you for a good experience and food was lovely too. Will definitely return and recommend to others

This is a fabulous pub.. Lovely welcome, so warm and cosy on a wet day outside. There is a super varied menu . We selected salmon from the specials board and two pan fried chickens from the main menu all were superb with top quality ingredients and cooked to perfection. Can't recommend this pub highly enough and it's dog friendly.Thank you Victoria.

Me and my partner came in for dinner after a day out and were not disappointed! The staff were absolutely lovely, attentive and gave great recommendations. Service was quick and the food was so good that we couldn’t help but stay for dessert, despite our full stomachs. We will definitely back!

The pepperoni pizza is basically a cheese pizza with a few slices of pepperoni. Very disappointing. The ale was however in very good condition. Prices are above average but the service was excellent.
