Food was very wholesome - hot (which always makes a difference). Good choices. Definitely somewhere I'd return to.

Popped in this place after visiting beamish. The staff were really good and the food was excellent value for money. The large mixed grille you see in the photos was £9.99! The other is a homemade lasagna which was also really nice.

When you get good food, portion size and cost is not really an issue, but when you get good food and good portions for a good price, then you're onto something. We had four meals, and four drinks for less than fifty quid. The only downside was the staff didn't give off that welcoming vibe.
