Great meal. Really tasty food, great menu and friendly serv8ce
No complaints, everything was perfect, pizzas are amazing, Sunday lunch was huge staff were fantastic.
Visited restairant quite a few times, most recently on Saturday for our anniversary, and it's was beautiful. Staff were so attentive but also gave us space, the food was delicious! Fabulous place. Found il Cancello on the internet when we stayed for a couple of days in Beamish.
Busy when we arrived, lovely atmosphere and a warm greeting from owner and staff.
Very good menu to suit all tastes.
Food and service were excellent 100%+.

Excellent place for dinner. We went a large group with family and a child. The waiting staff were great, very attentive and sweet, happy to cater to kids choices. We had Sunday roasts which were lovely, excellent food, and all went down great with everyone in the group. We all also had dessert, ever
We have visited this restaurant recently.
Have ordered pizzas. The pizzas were well cooked , looks nice and delicious. The dough was thin and and the filling was tasty.
Highly recommend the Diablo spicy pizza.
The Overall score is 4 due to the room been very compact.
Beautiful meal for my mams birthday. Never dissatisfied when eating here nothing is ever too much trouble.

In a lovely location,interior was really nicely decorated with some nice murals,my meal i had bruchetta and sea bass both were gorgeous and family said desserts were just as good. Staff and chef must be mentioned as this was made even better with their service a huge thank you and give it a go
Popped in for food pretty much at random while in the area, but really enjoyed it here. Very friendly waiter and the food was great. We will be back!
