The Italian hot chocolate in the café was absolutely superb, one of the most perfectly dense, thick, chocolatey chocolates I've ever had. The shop had loads of really interesting stationery, including a few limited edition Lamy fountain pens and some lovely notebooks. I walked out with bags bulging.
Delicious local cream teas, sandwiches, jacket potatoes, toasties and cakes. Friendly service and warm cosy atmosphere. Cafe located at back of shop
Such an interesting store, come mini restaurant, for an excellent lunch break, clean, friendly, reasonable prices with a very good return on the plate!!!!

Lovely shop, full of cards, homeware, clothes and all sorts of other nicknacks. At the rear is a wonderful cafe that does great bacon sandwiches and scones with jam and cream and the waiting staff are delightful.
Very cosy cafe at the back of the shop. Breakfast was a different from the usual English breakfast but it was very good ! Coffee has got a + as does the hot chocolate!
We had the pleasure of eating lunch here. A wonderful selection of cakes, sandwiches and light lunch classics. The food was wonderful and the service quick and attentive. Look no further for an excellent experience.
I was walking the Wessex Ridgeway with a friend last week and we needed some breakfast to start our day off in Beaminster. I had a bacon sandwich with the bread supplied from Evershot bakery. I doubt whether you could get a better bacon sandwich in England! The flat white was excellent as well.
Great little shop, with lots of interesting knick knacks and gifts for all occasions. It also has a cafe out back, ideal for a slice of cake and cup of tea or something larger hot or cold, various dishes on the menu.
Lovely quaint cafe at the back of an interesting shop. Limited menu but what we had was well presented and tasty. Service was quick and friendly.

Love the food here. The staff are very friendly, and I love their sandwiches on soft brown bread... not forgetting their naughty cakes too 😁

I had a coffee and toasted teacake for £5. Excellent quality and friendly service in a cosy environment. It is also a gift shop!
