I must confess that the sausage roll that I had in Saltwater Café today was one of the finest examples of this dish. Full of meat, great taste and beautifully delicate pastry.

Found this little gem by accident. Will definitely be back before the end of my holiday. I've never seen my son not manage to finish a tuna sandwich lol. It was huge and the Lemon drizzle cake was the best I've eaten.

Been for dinner and Sunday lunch. Both didn't disappoint. The cakes and Puddings on offer were scrumptious. Sometimes the service could have been more diligent.

The best dinner we've had for as long as we can remember. We visited whilst on holiday in the area and as we will be staying in Beadnell regularly, we will certainly be back. The bistro has a lovely ambience; very pleasant decor and tables not too close together. The staff were friendly and warm and catered for my husband's onion allergy without any difficulty. The food was just amazing; fresh ingredients, perfectly cooked with delicious accompaniment. We were with my Sister and Brother-in-Law, who agreed that the meal was very good. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

We stayed at Craster Arms for 2 nights. We have breakfast in the cafe just across the road from Pub. Its owned by the same people and that's where you are told to go for breakfast. We booked a table for two that night.....food was superb....book a table.

We went to this place at lunch time as a cafe which was rather average to be honest. However we decided to return for the evening menu as a bistro, we were very pleased with the food and the service. The mains were lovely, we ordered the stone bass risotto, the stone bass was chunky fresh fish, which just melted in your mouth. And the seafood platter was a range of gorgeous, fresh fish. We managed to squeeze in a dessert, the chocolate orange brownie was amazing and huge! I had to take some of it away. Overall a lovely experience, would highly recommend a visit on an evening.

Outstanding. We had a cream tea booked here and it was perfect in every way. Have a look at the photos and you will see what I mean. You can pretty much judge a quality by availability. It's really hard to get a table. If you are in the area then try. Limited parking so I'd suggest parking 100m down the road and walking to the venue. Not worth trying to park nearer and the extra traffic just ruins the area which is beautiful.

Delicious. The best meal of our holiday in the area. I had the scallops followed by slow cooked beef cheeks and sticky toffee pudding. Everyone in our group enjoyed their meal. High quality. Would definitely recommend it.

Got here just as they were closing the kitchen, however it was not a problem as the owner said it was fine. We sat outside as we had two labradors with us and had a wonderful meal, could not fault it. I had the monkfish red Thai curry and my wife had the sirloin steak which were both cooked to perfection. Thanks very much for accommodating us at short notice.

I managed to get a table booked during a short visit to the area and I am so glad I did. The food here is excellent. The flavour, presentation and portion size were spot on. I felt safe inside the cafe as there are limited tables during the evening service so you have plenty of space around you. Staff are attentive and friendly. Booking over messenger was very quick and easy. The scallops are highly recommended and the lamb was amazing

Went for breakfast on a Saturday morning . 3 of us ordered the full English. Was nice but wait time was nearly an hour! They did say there was a bit of a wait which compensated for the long wait. All in all nice little place with friendly staff.

Amazing food, great staff and doing the right things after lockdown. Didn’t take photos of the Cod Loin and Roast Chicken as we just got stuck in. Lemon Meringue and Chocolate Brownie photos really say it all. I have seen some silly reviews but people need to be patient after lockdown! If this is how things are done in the new normal then sign me up!
