A fabulous little pub. Lovely owners, friendly staff and customers, the food is excellent and cooked to perfection, good sized portions, lots of choices on the menu. We had the carvery on Sunday (which was outstanding) and liked it so much we went back on Monday for lunch! The chicken, garlic and mu
Wonderful family owned pub serving delicious hot food - amazing play area for the kids and the landlady was one of the nicest people we have ever met 👌🏻 will definitely come again! Dog friendly too which was a bonus, provided water for the doggos too (thanks!)
Cracking dog-friendly pub with friendly staff and great food. The carvery is super fresh and really tasty although you’d need a massive appetite to tackle a large plate!
Lovely little pub, extensive menu, polite welcoming staff, food portions are very generous & the food we were served was lovely although the beef on the carvery was a little tough, my steak was cooked to perfection, will certainly be returning

Really nice pub and really nice staff. We went for a carvery here and really enjoyed the food and was very generous with the meat portions. Food and drinks prices were relatively cheap and can eat inside or out side also a big park for kids to play
Absolutely beautiful food well presented and not much waiting time which is a bonus when kids are dining with you
An absolute amazing place for food. I've never heard anyone be negative! If they were then there would be something wrong. You get more than your money's worth and never wall away hungry. Staff are all so pleasant too.
First time I have been here in a very long time & I wasn't disapointed. The staff were lovely & friendly & the food was amazing. I will definately be going back for a return visit.
There were 10 of us arrived this evening and there were already quite a few people being served their food. It all looked very nice. I opted for a main course prawn salad. I think it was the most satisfying prawn salad I have ever had and at a tenner you can’t grumble! The staff are welcoming and ca
This place is a little gem! At first glance you’d assume it’s just a local village pub. Having struggled to find a place serving food in the area on a Monday we were pleasantly surprised when told they were serving. I had chicken and cheese melt my partner had fajitas. Both meals were excellent and
Visited the Ship Inn at lunch time. Had a lovely meal. The owners were very friendly and chatty. Would definitely recommend. 😊
We've eaten here a few times ,however this will definitely be the last time.. The food was not good at all, we left a lot to be honest.
2020 Covid review. Hand sanitiser on the way in. All staff wearing masks. Always good food. We came here for my aunts 80th birthday. We've been here twice and the food and service have always been good. there's free parking and wifi. You can sit outside or inside. I had the fish and chips fo
Fantastic food, friendly staff and a great soundtrack... Even the coffee is pleased to see you!
Visited today and for a Carvery Dinner (As image shows Large Dinner) and really enjoyed my meal. Going to visit again, me and my partner were very happy about it. Fantastic staff too.
My wife and I visited The Ship Inn today with our little boy and baby. It has been a couple of years since we last came and it has changed ownership since then. I wasn't sure what to expect as I remember how the quality of food used to be really good. However, we were not disappointed. The food wa
