Perfect food with pleasant staff including the chef who is more than happy to chat to you regarding the food, fantastic experience and the food was great, cooked to perfection. I would definitely come here again. There was 3 of us in the group and I thought everything was reasonably priced, not too expensive, the toilets are nice aswell very classy!

Visited Saturday night for our sons 14th birthday, 5 adults and 1 child. We had a selection of starters, drinks and mains. Service was warm, welcoming and the food was lovely. We thought about going out of town but instead stayed local and glad we did.

We visited bawtry's bar and brasserie yesterday afternoon and decided to have a bite to eat. We have eaten here before and it is never disappointing. 😋😋
The place altogether is very nice good selection of drinks, and the atmosphere is a good vibe.

From the moment I rang and enquired about booking a meal for 15 people to the end of the meal itself the whole experience was impressive. 13 starters made and on the table ready in a timely manner. Waiting staff were very friendly and it was so nice to see the chief in full view making the food.
Following the starters was 15 steaks which were all cooked to perfection. The steaks tasted lovely and each person in our group mentioned how they enjoyed the meal. Only 5 people had puddings but the people who did again said how impressed they were with the food.
The waiting staff couldn’t be more helpful and the chef came over at the end to ensure we enjoyed the food.
Highly recommended to any visiting Bawtry.
Had a nice sit down meal had two burgers they where good abit expensive but what it was, but still enjoyed

Fabulous food and service as usual 4 of us had pizza which were all hot and tasty and chef created a chicken salad which she was most impressed with .
The young lady who was front of house was professional and attentive following up on food being served to check all was OK and getting us extra drink orders . We'll worth the money.
Amazing food a place I will be visiting again steaks are awesome recommended but all in all food is top class

Nice village pub. Good atmosphere and great selection of beers. Food was terrific and good value. Staff friendly and helpful. Would definitely visit again if in the area.
Came here last night with my partner for our anniversary and the food was absolutely INCREDIBLE. We both had chicken to start and a steak for our main. Everything was cooked perfectly and seasoned really well. 100% worth the 2 hour drive from Birmingham! Next time we’ll make sure to bring enough room for dessert.
Staff were amazing too, attentive, polite and just generally lovely!
Had the pepperoni pizza,tasted a little doughy,would have preferred it to be a little more crispy,and a little less peppers,would visit again though and try something different.
Amazing service. All the staff were so friendly and made us feel welcome. We came in on a bank hol without a booking and were looked after straight away. The food was amazing. All 5 meals were 10/10

Went for Father’s Day. Meal was excellent. Step mum had salmon cooked exactly how she liked it. Dad had a platter that looked phenomenal and I had a cracking fillet steak. So tender, it was incredible. You could tell everything was cooked and made fresh. The atmosphere was very welcoming and the head chef even got involved for some banter between cooking courses. Would definitely go back.
